List of David Silverstein's Reviews
This doctor saved my life. Even though he does pulmonary medicine he figured out that I had a congenital heart defect after multiple physicians go it wrong. I am just sorry he retired
IN MY Opinion he dropped the ball on my wife leading to her death, He spent more time on suggesting to pull the plug (twice) so he not get sued for malpractice. It worked. My wife was choked to death in a Largo Medical ICU getting a procedure when he was not there for and 'might' not have needed. He didn't check her Ventilator settings the night of her death, because he was busy talking to nurses. And showing YouTube Videos not related to medicine. The autopsy results said that she was not getting oxygen from ventilator, and left her breathing only room oxygen for 68 hours according to two experts one Dr Cyril Wecht an ME., MD, JD and an CRTT. That was a direct result in her death.
Dr. Dave was faced with a very severe situation with my late husbands cancer. He took his care very seriously, and did the absolute best that he could with the stage 4 illness he was faced with, making David as comfortable as possible, using humor and Yiddush jokes to try to lighten the atmosphere when possible. He is to date the only man I've ever met who wears the same cologne my husband did. I could tell anytime he was approaching the room. He was kind, and compassionate, and above all, did NOT have a G-D complex. Perhaps his time as an Israeli IDF Paramedic Paratrooper gave him a much different outlook on medicine, and on life. Mazel Tov, Dr. Dave.

Silverstein, please have your attorney call me to work something out. By harassing me to change Mary to a DNR. You knew Mary's condition that the RT punctured her esophagus a day or two before you ordered the procedure that killed her! Why didn't you call me to let me know you were sapping out her trachea tube to cuffed from cuff less. You can in, late the night before she was killed. All I saw you do was change to CPR light? Why? Anyway I pretty sure it's a civil rights issue. I really don't think the hospital will keep allowing you to do so. How did my wife die? You said one story, hospital said natural causes, no one from Largo Medical EVER told me how my wife was KILLED! The guy I hired listed a few, but wasn't 100% sure how, just she died in horror. They had to wire her jaw shut and glues her right eye closed. You know how to reach me.
I was very nervous. Scared to death. He joked with me, but he also go down to business and explained to me, in language I could understand, exactly what was happening. He explained upcoming procedures. He really cares about his patients, you can tell. He will fight insurance companies for you. I think he enjoys that because it's wrong what they try to do to us. I LIKE and have tremendous respect for this gentleman.
An outstanding, caring, highly competent doctor.
Dr. Silverstein is the reason I am able to right this today. He is truly a godsend and I am greatful he came into my life. I will be forever indebted to him for his persistant care. I dont always like what he tells me, but I would strongly encourage you to consider his services if they should be needed. He is extremely well respected by his piers and has a great personality.
Dr. Dave cared for my Late husband many years ago as if he were caring for a much loved brother. He was always there for us, and his humor was infectious enough to be better than medicine. I will always remember him Very Fondly.
Dr. Silverstein is not only one of the nicest people in the world, he is an expert in his field and when I talk in the waiting room and it's full, everyone is always taking about how great Dr. Silverstein is and how he is definitely worth the wait. I never had a Dr. explain medical issues like Dr. Silverstein.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
