He is very nice, patient and gentle. However, I had a toenail fungus and don't remember him mentioning a cream called Ciclopirox Olamine. I took the pills 3 months for a toe and then instead of mentioning this cream, Jublia and I think something else were mentioned that really don't work well. I was so exhausted with the ugly fungus, I agreed to have the toenail removed. When I visited another podiatrist to discuss surgery, as Dr. Liaros doesn't do surgery, the other Dr doesn't prescribe the pills to anyone, I used this cream successfully on not one but 2 toes. One cleared up in a month, and the other took a little longer as fungus had been there longer, but with patience and diligence it cleared up. So I still have both those toenails. I would say removing the toe nail an absolute last resort until after trying the Ciclopirox. Especially in FL where people where open toed shoes alot. Mind you I did agree to the toenail removal, but had I known there was the option of a cream twice a day, I would have waited to see how things went with that first.
