List of Erasmo Passaro's Reviews
Simple. Dr. Passaro gave me an extra 20 years of life. I think my 1 Hour wait is worth a longer life. I was the first Brain Tumor patient in the History of Pinellas County to be wide awake for surgery.
Yes, you might have to sit for some time waiting to be seen. But that’s because he takes time to listen to patients and wants to solve problems.
I’m writing this as I’ve been waiting in the waiting room for an hour and a half, waiting to go back to wait for another who knows how long. Seriously, who knows, the front desk can’t advise me of a time but assured me I should be out by 5pm from my 3pm appointment as I’m next to go back. But this has been my experience almost every time, so this will be my last visit and will be finding a new neurologist…it’s not worth the wait if it was only 1 hour. If you don’t want to be in this situation I strongly urge you to find a good neurologist anywhere else, you aren’t missing out.
As a new patient his staff was excellent and on time. His PA rapid fire about 10 questions in about 60 seconds and I mentioned that the questions were asked to fast. B/P, lungs, heart and etc were less than 8 minutes. She said the doctor will be in. After 25 minutes I gathered my belongings and went to the desk to inquire about when the doctor would see me. They said within 2 hours 😔. I couldn't believe the answer and they confirmed the answer. I said I would find another neurologist. Good bye.
I believe Dr. Passaro is a good doctor wants the best for his patients, however the business and infrastructure says and does otherwise. These patients, myself included need to be helped and followed up upon, not just meds thrown their way and basically "good luck, see you in 6 months". He's so pressed for time that I didn't feel heard or listened to. The front line staff needs a shakeup, seems like a level of chaos all the time. Appointment times, money owed, insurance, etc all gets jumbled. I've arrived for appointments, that didn't exist in their computers, that they made for me previously...I could go on, like many reviews below.
If you expect to be helped make sure you have a year to wait..they will cancel and reschedule with no care in the world for your health. If you do choose to wait make sure your final will is drawn up, because you'll die before they see you.
Medication since the 1980s and have always felt that I was in the best hands possible!
I am very neurologically complicated but he is trying to control my epilepsy.
This is our first in office appointment with Dr. Passaro since my husband has been his patient for over a year! He did one video chat last year and since then the nurse always got on the video chats (4-5 minutes max) no results or answers, just keep taking meds! Today we waited 1 hour after check in to be asked if we minded see the nurse instead! No! Why are we paying (no insurance) to visit the doctor and we can not see him! This visit was also a rescheduled appointment from August, the day of my husband appointment, the doctor had an emergency and needed to reschedule 2 months later! Beyond frustrated with this entire business! It’s so sad these patients need help and this is their treatment! And Passaro is supposed to be one of the best!!! Extremely disappointed! Thanks for the long wait so I can write this from your waiting area!
Fantastic well run office. I typically do not write reviews, however, this office really stands out from the other medical offices and deserves top praise. The staff answers the phone in a friendly polite manner and I’ve never been on hold for more than a minute. Other offices have the caller on hold for long periods which is a frustrating experience. They are professional, listen, and follow up with me promptly when necessary. The medical staff is wonderful as well. I can’t recall the last time I’ve dealt with a medical office this organized and knowledgeable. Dr Passaro is fortunate to have found such a good team. Dr Passaro was the only neurologist, after calling eight others, who offered a televisit in order to connect with me quickly as I had a time sensitive issue. Very impressed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
