List of Florida Medical Pain Management's Reviews
I had a new patient consult with Brenda yesterday. I found her to be very professional knowledgable and compassionate. She explained possible procedures and decided on an initial course of treatment. Very efficient and I felt like I was in good hands.
FMPM misscheduled my appointment. I work FT and its difficult to get time off for these appts as they already take a long time. But its what we have to do. Ive done it forever with no complaints. Today I asked to still be seen. Was told no. They were booked. Although I made the appt weeks ago. Another guy ahead of me had same issue. They cancelled his appt and no one told him Coincidence? Not likely. I was told I could return the next day at 350pm. I call to clear it with work then return to counter where the office manager Princess rudely proceeds to chastise me for being upset then refused to give me an appt. Told me shed discuss my behavior with Dr. Perera and decide if theyd see me. As if I was a child.Ive been seeing Dr. Perera for 810 years. Ive never had one issue. She tells me she understands yet she hasnt had 2 back surgeries hasnt been through all the procedures and isnt out of medication. Yet it was easy to treat me terribly when Im paying for a service. I get nothing for free. I got loud AFTER she refused to give me appt. Perhaps its her terrible management that leads to the continuous change in staff. But shell of course lie to the doctor and blame the patient for being inconvenienced and upset. She lacked any true professionalism couldnt even get my name right and although I may be in horrible pain I am glad to know how they truly feel about their patients. I hope Dr. Perera knows who is representing him.

Drop the neighbor off for their treatment so I was just aiming out of the parking lot that was easy entering and exiting on to 54th Avenue
I took my wife to this place and they stated they were able to help her. She went through the psychiatrist appointment they scheduled and the drug test they ordered her to do. Took her to her appointment today August 30th and they informed her that they cant help. Stated they cant prescribe medication via pill form and only do injections yet they she had to jump through all these hoops just to say no at the end. They couldve stayed something sooner but opted to make her go through all of this just to turn her away. They stated the orthopedic had to do injections but the orthopedic stated it was pain managements job. At the end the of the day she goes through all of this wasted time for nothing. The psychiatrist and drug screening appointments were a complete waste of time. Save yourself the time and energy and seek someone better to help with all pain management needs because this place isnt it.
complete waste of time. Took my wife there and after all the hoop jumping you made her go through you turn her away.

I wish I could give 10000 stars to this medical practice and these doctors who have taken me under their wing listen to me and have provided the best possible path moving forward and I am eternally grateful to the staff here and the doctors. From the star Dr. Perera took me in asked me the right questions went right to the source of my chronic back pain which I got from the Marine Corps has an infantryman during the time of war in Afghanistan. I carry heavy loads and did heavy lifting for a long period of time that caused the compression of my spine resulting in degenerative changes in my body leading to stenosis and other very complicated issues with my spine and SI joint. For once outside of the VA thanks to the mission fact I can now see outside providers and Dr. Perera and Dr. Acevedo and his team are the ones who are delivering I highly recommend them.
While I haven’t been there within recent months I have been a patient there for years. The office is beautiful sparkling clean and the staff extremely polite friendly and helpful to a fault. If you are in need of a pain management doctor and clinic look no further this IS the ONLY place to go. The founding doctor Kazi Hassan M.D. is from India and is the FRIENDLIEST POLITEST AND KNOWLEDGEABLE man I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. He will take his time with you he’s not in any hurry to whisk you in and out just to make a buck. His family is wealthy he doesn’t NEED the money he works to HELP PEOPLE RELIEVE their pain. He genuinely works his best to help people not for the money. You could not find a better doctor
The regime Florida Pain Management decided on with me for my Cervical and Lower Lumbar spine has eased my pain. Telehealth visits during Covid19 were productive. During inperson visits the doctor explains everything so that I can understand. Questions are always answered. Office visits and every procedure is handled by a cohesive team that works well with patients and each other. They are alert to difficulties a patient may have. I would describe the office and medical staff as professional knowledgeable kind caring compassionate uplifting and fun Because of Florida Pain Management my quality of life has improved.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
