Great doctor. Very caring. knowledgeable.

I went to dr McCance many years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. I had a strange dark spot on my ankle. I asked her to looked at it. She said everything gets darker when you are pregnant.Don’t worry about it! I thought she must know she is an MD. By the grace of God I went to a dermatologist a few months after my daughter was born. I went for something else but I just happened to mention my ankle. I hadn’t thought a lot about it because I trusted Dr McCance. Big mistake! It was melanoma! She should have recommended I see a dermatologist not just say it is nothing!

As a new patient, Dr McCance took the time to learn about my medical history, listen to my concerns, and provide a treatment plan that gives me hope.

Dr McCance is very professional and has a very warm caring Demeanor. I have been with her many years, and would not want any other doctor. She always helps diagnose and treat my issues.

Dr. McCance was rushed, rude, and unprofessional. Her bedside manner is terrible and she body shamed me when 24 weeks pregnant. Every other doctor in the practice had told me that I was healthy, weight gain was appropriate, and I was low risk. She told me I could only gain another 3 lbs (I had not gained very much since my previous appointment) and tested me for Type II diabetes and hypothyroidism based on my pregnancy BMI (this should have been done if necessary at my prenatal BMI, but it wasn't, so this was inappropriate, not to mention BMI is not an indicator individual health or fatness). She also did not believe that my bp readings at home were normal, even though I am experienced at this and knew that they were. She introduced much stress and anxiety to my experience, when I was already anxious from having previous miscarriages and came into the office needing to discuss stress reduction (which she did not do, just glossed over my obvious distress). I do not recommend her at all.

I have had Dr. McCance for 3 years and she has been amazing at each visit. I felt like she listened to my concerns and was able to relay information to me in a manner in which I could understand it. I would highly recommend her for her professionalism!

After Dr Hochberg retired 20+ years ago, I started seeing Dr McCance. I have remained her patient since then. Her direct and all business approach took me a few visits to get used to after Dr Hochberg’s very sociable and humorous personality. I have seen Dr McCance for many different reasons over the years; annual visits and several procedures. During all of my visits, she has been excellent. She is extremely thorough, easy to talk, she listens and she cares about my well being. In addition, the staff does a great job and they are always very pleasant. I highly recommend Dr McCance.

I went to Dr. McCance for years dealing with my endometriosis she saved my life. Best female Doctor ever!!!

She is a good practitioner and does explain things thoroughly I like her office staff and I think she’s very personable herself. The only thing I don’t like about going to her office is I’ve been there for three different procedures and each time I had to spend 2 to 3 hours in her office two hours just sitting in the waiting room.
