Dr. DeSilva is an exceptionally competent doctor in every way. She has treated me for 15+ years and is always very compassionate. She is the best rheumatologist Ive seen in the 31 years Ive had fibromyalgia. She always reviews my medication at every appointment makes sure that I have adequate refills of medicine so that Im not in pain from my illness injuries over the years. She treats my environmental food allergies as well as my asthma which has been very well controlled under her care. She refers for labs imaging studies etc as appropriate. She spends a lot of time with me at every visit. There is a wait at times but it has never been longer than 40 minutes in my experience. She has a lovely sense of humor educates you in a very caring manner. She is responsive on the patient portal has a dr on call. The office is very clean the staff is friendly. Her medical assistant Dijanna is thorough sweet a longtime employee. Jennifer at the front desk is wonderful too.

Ive been going here for years Dr Desilva and her staff are great Yes the wait is usually long but well worth it. Ive seen two other rheumatologist before her and she by far is the best Ive had Dont be discouraged by the negative reviews

This is the WORST experience ever at a Drs1 had to wait 96 hours+ to get a call back from Grace to make an appointment when it says on the answering machine to leave a voicemail she will return the call it wasnt over a weekend to not leave multiple messages2then got an appointment 3 weeks later which at that time Grace informed me to go to the website fill out prepare ALL documents prior to visit print them out to bring to visit...to bring ID..INSURANCE..A facemask have the payment of $149.17 with me at the first visit to be 15 minutes early to go over paperwork no family members can come inside3I did everything above showed up 30 minutes prior to my appointmentAfter my scheduled time of 315 came went by as I listen to Dr Desilva in the room right next to me do 3 virtual patient calls with 2 women a man ...MIND YOU I HEARD EVERYTHING from their names..prescriptions..ailments etc..which is a MAJOR HIPPA violation Dr De Silva walks in I in no uncertain terms asked her Grace why this happened Grace said I got skipped the Dr said NO she was on virtual call with a 3pm appointment I advised her that wasnt TRUE that if thats what she does is lie to her patients I didnt want a Dr like her treating me I walked out At 4pm mind youI am turning her office into the board of nursing also going to find out where I can get her looked into for HIPPA violationDont go to thus office if you DONT want your info out there for EVERYONE to KNOW

Dra Desilva is an excellent professional my last visit was on May 8 2020 virtually. I later received a call from the nurse to schedule an appointment with Dr. August 12 2020. I went at the scheduled time and date and the front desk staff tells me I am not on schedule. She schedules a new appointment for me on September 3 2020. When I arrive at the office she tells me that my GP did not authorize the visit and that they could not notify me because my cellphone area code is 787 Puerto Rico . I explain that my GP changed it as of June 1 2020. As soon as I received the card in June I went to the office and gave all the information to an assistant and she took my card from medical insurance and entered the information ???. and today they do not attend to me because they did not have the correct information in the system. Whose incopetence is it? 932020

She is well informed on updated medicines etc. Very detailed oriented and supportive. Dr. Desilva is one of the best Dr.s I have encountered in my life and I have unfortunately had many due to cancer major back surgery and disability. Her compassion for her patients is absolutely incredible

The doctor is great. Office staff and nurses are incompetent. They never return phone calls even if its an emergency

A decent doctor. The front office is a circus. They are exceedingly incompetent at the basics of their jobs and make getting anything done an absolute hassle. I have to harass them to get orders faxed and sometimes they say theyve done it when they clearly havent. Dont expect them to return your calls or messages or even answer the phones the majority of the time. Ive shown up to followup appointments to talk about results of tests that have been ordered only to have the doctor check for the results midway through the appointment and realize they werent there. It took me a week to get my results I picked them up myself from the imaging center. If you want to spend any time with your doctor come prepared with a list of specific and detailed questions. She isnt forthcoming with information and will gladly leave after giving you a barebones explanation of whats going on. The wait times both to get an appointment and to see a doctor are ridiculous.

Not sure how I can leave a review of this Dr. when in 3 days I have not been able to contact a human being to make an appointment. The most frustrating experience. How is this medically appropriate???

You’ll wait for an hour at least to see the doctor. The nurse that takes you to your room is always unpleasant. On my first appointment after stating no habit forming meds she prescribed just that. Second appointment requesting the correct meds which is her job in the first place she gave me the wrong medication. So wrong it was equivalent to narcan this is a withdraw medication. Seems like a med mill who could care less about what you state you want clearly doesn’t listen to you. Do not recommend.

Dr Desilva is an excellent doctor. Very understanding and kind. Yes there is a wait sometimes but it’s worth it to have a doctor that Really listens with compassion and wants to help you. She is also extremely knowledgeable and on top of new treatments. All the front office staff especially Jennifer and Grace and the nurse Dijana are very helpful and supportive. I’ve been treated here for over five years and always highly recommend this office
