Dr. Mines is actually listens (!), focusing on what’s being said. His exam questions help clarify the problem. Once he’s comfortable with a diagnosis, he provides clear and understandable explanations. Dr. Mines offers a variety options to best correct/remediate the problem non-surgically. I appreciate his concern to accurately identify the problem and a solution. As a bonus the front office staff, med tech, and nurse were also really, really good.

De. Mines was truly phenomenal. Compassionate, caring, explained everything thoroughly in my diagnosis and his recommendations were very comprehensive. I felt he was genuine and cares about the well being of his patients. Highly recommend him. Saw him for back and knee pain and he immediately diagnosed the issues and came up with a non-surgical treatment plan with follow up in a few weeks to make sure it was effective. Truly wonderful care and sincerity.

Dr. Mines is a really good doctor, and his staff (particularly his medical assistant) is also fantastic.

I was met by Dr. Mines who spends time explaining every aspect of my health situation. I leave his office with hope and optimism along with the belief I am in good hands. Dr. Mines is an excellent doctor. He listens well, is patient and knowledgeable. He correctly diagnosed my knee injury before the MRI. I highly recommend him if you need a non operative sports medicine doctor. His assistant Migdalia is also very caring, competent and efficient. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the wait was very short in the Palms of Pasadena office. The entire staff there is wonderful!

Dr. Mines is incredibly knowledgeable in orthopedics and diagnose my shoulder injury and broken finger after my mountain bike accident. He was very straightforward in terms of providing treatment options with laying 3 different choices for me out on the table, of which I chose the one I was most comfortable with. Couldn’t ask for more from a medical professional in terms of allowing me to make the decisions I wanted after providing me with the facts and information about my injuries and not pushing me to make a decision. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment with Dr. Mines in 2 weeks and will be having him look at other more long term injuries I am dealing with. I highly recommend him and his staff at his office, nurse tech Migdalia was very professional and helpful with the additional care she provided me with after the doctors recommendations. To top it all off, Dr. Mines office got me in for an appointment within a few hours of calling up whereas other practices told me it would be a 1-2 month wait.

My appointment with Dr. Gregory Mines reflected what modern medicine should look like—thorough, engaging and instructive. The focus on rehabilitation versus surgery was particularly refreshing. I highly recommend his practice.
