Hogan G Yi's Online Review Report Card

Doesn't care about his patients wants/needs/requests at all. He has a set plan already in his mind for whatever ailment you have and there's no room for discussion. To the point that the radiology technician and PA apologized to me. They are great. They listened and had empathy. Dr Yi should just be retired already. Medicine changes all the time and he stays the same. I had radiographs performed at another hospital, 2 weeks prior to the appointment. I brought them with me to my appointment to avoid new ones. Dr Yi told me if I wanted to be seen by him I was going to have them redone. I tried to tell him I was over-exposed to x-rays in the past due to my career manually having to hold patients and was trying to avoid more xrays. He did not care at all. Crazy that the new radiographs showed no changes. I have a torn rotator cuff and he was going to recommend cortisone injections that's what he wanted to do. I let him do it because I needed help but I will not return to him for anything. No way would I trust him to cut me open. He is only focused on making money.

I have to laugh when I read some of these negative reviews. I have been going to Dr. Yi 30 years. He has treated every member of my family. He has done my knee, 2 carpel tunnel and 6 trigger fingers on me. He did my husbands hip. We all did really well after surgery. He is amazing at what he does. He is not mean, but in fact has a great sense of humor. He is busy, so I imagine he does not have time to deal with troublesome patients who argue with his opinion. If he needs to take more time with you, he will. If your problem is not complicated, he does what he needs to do. I'm a registered Nurse and trust us, we know which Drs. patients do well and which Dr.s don't. You want a good outcome, then come to Dr. Yi. Oh and his staff is great.

Office staff, Dr Yi, Xray tech are all professional and helpful . Passed out in the shower 9/24/22 went to the ER and they found a fracture near knee and said I had a sprained ankle but it was swollen and did X-rays and referred me I a Otho . Couldn’t get in to anyone because of Hurricane Ian . Went to Dr Yi 10/3 they found a 2nd fracture of the ankle 2 torn ligaments and did emergency surgery the next day on the ankle . Have been back twice and been treated great each time .

I had knee surgery by Dr Yi over 25 years he is woundful and my knee is doing woundful as of today 2022

When my husband needed knee surgery we chose Dr. Hogan Yi and it was an exemplary experience. Since then, my mother has had two separate shoulder surgeries with him and my husband has had a subsequent knee surgery. All four experiences have been excellent. Carrie (sp ? -sorry) is his office manager and always goes above and beyond. Excellent customer service. After the most recent surgery my husband had Dr. Yi called me personally to update me.

Best place ever. Friendly staff and Dr Yi is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Yi and his entire staff were absolutely fantastic. I could not have asked for better care for my husband. A big thanks to all the staff there at Dr. Yi's office, we'll see you in a month for the follow appointment
