This Doctor saved my life when I became sick and needed dialysis right away, we've had some hills, valleys, & mountains to climb, but no one's perfect.....

Probably the worst doctor I’ve ever had. Extremely pompous man. I spent three months in the ICU and had AKI which is a healable kidney issue. Dr Sotolongo REFUSED to ever let me come into his office and discuss how to better heal my kidney issue. He was my issuing doctor and was being paid by my insurance company as if he was treating me, YET NEVER WOULD ACTUALLY MEET WITH ME ONE ON ONE TO CONSULT ME!!! It was to the point I had to go down there unannounced and demand an appt. This was after he was billing my insurance for months as if I was a normal patient and I was going to dialysis... After going to his office to schedule a time to visit with him, they refused to schedule me an appt. I then got a letter in the mail saying he refused to meet with me and he was firing me as a patient. I was picked up by another kidney doctor who after a couple weeks informed me I NO LONGER NEEDEDTHE TREATMENT, and didnt need it for some time. DR SOTOLONGO WAS BILLING MY INSURANCE AND KEPT ME IN DIALYSIS FOR HIS OWN FINANCIAL GAIN!!!He manipulated my condition and the situation to waste my time and energy, keeping me in the dialysis clinic to turn a profit off me. Do not trust this doctor. All he cared about is getting paid. Happy to say I’m still off dialysis and I doubt that would be the case if it was up to Dr Sotolongo.
