List of Indermaur Megan's Reviews
So very nice place and good people that work there
I HIGHLY recommend Dr Indermauer! She removed a very large cyst from my daughter laparoscopically and the whole process from start to finish was extremely professional, caring and informative.
I went to Dr Indermaur for my first surgery and had a great experience despite my nerves. The communication, facility, nurses, recovery, etc was all positive. My GYN strongly recommended her and rightfully so. I hope to never have surgery again but if I do, I would trust her to do it.
She is a great doctor she can sit down talk to you about the procedure and ask if we have any questions. Lovely and caring doctor. I had the best experience with her.
Dr. Indermaur performed an oophrectomy and a hysterectomy on me in October 2009. She is very intelligent, extremely skilled surgeon and a very caring person. The day of surgery I got cold feet and wanted to back out. She is a very kind, comforting doctor, and I had the robotic surgery. No regrets. I can't recommend her highly enough. I wish her all the best.
This amazing woman saved my life. I had a tumor growing inside of me that no one not even my own OB-GYN or General Doctor caught. It erupted and Dr. Indermaur had to do emergency surgery. The thing is she saw me through my aftercare and another surgery after that and always had such a pleasant and relaxing way about her.
I almost went septic due to a bacteria l got at Bayfront Hospital after a surgery with this Doctor. Called her office several times after the surgery to complaint of my fever and swelling and they ignored my concerns. Ended in St. Anthony’s Hospital which thanks to the BayCare Doctors there, saved my life after my awful experience with my surgery with Dr. Indermaur.
“Dr. Indermauer is professional and meticulous in her work. I was very nervous about surgery (mini laparotomy with salpingo-oophrectomy), but she calmed me with reassurances of excellent care and then delivered, as promised. Very impressed and couldn’t be happier. “ Sarah F.
I feel very blessed to have Dr. Indemaur as my gynecologic oncologist. She is a highly skilled specialist and surgeon, and also is compassionate, taking all the time you need in your appointment to be sure to answer your questions. She uses a laparascopic surgical technique when possible, which means much smaller incisions than traditional surgery. She has an excellent nurse practitioner (Cheryl), excellent chemo nurses, and that brings me to another huge plus with this practice: they have their own chemo room right there in the St. Petersburg office. I needed to have four rounds of chemo, and instead of having to go to a big, impersonal hospital, I could go right there to her office, into their VERY cozy, comfortable, peaceful, quiet chemo room, which has a remarkable patient/nurse ratio of at most 5 chemo patients (they only have 5 chairs in there) to 2 chemo nurses. My chemo treatments were over 8 hours long each time, so I was there for a full day each time. I jokingly referred to my chemo days as my "spa days", because they were so much more relaxing than being at my job! They also do their own blood work right there on the office (they will send it off to the lab on your insurance plan for you), which for me was MAJOR, as my white blood cell count was knocked down to virtually zero by the chemo, so the last thing my immune system or energy level could have handled was going to the waiting room of some lab and hanging out for blood work every time. Instead, I could just get the blood work done right at Dr. Indemaur's office, just like I was getting the chemo there. It makes a huge difference to the patient.I highly recommend this practice. You may have to wait a while for your very first/initial appointment (and if they try to put you off too long at the front desk, I strongly recommend that you keep bugging them if you think your situation is one in which you need to be seen sooner than the initial appointment they are offering you, and have the referring doctor call and impress the urgency of the situation on the scheduling staff, too), but once you are a patient, you won't, and, as the doctor who referred me to her said, she is worth the wait, she's the one you want to see.
Was ref'd to her by my gyno, regarding a large chocolate cyst that was found. Dr. Indermaur suggested surgery, and performed it several weeks later. Upon first meeting her, she was kind and professional. I was happy to know she would be doing the surgery. Was very reassuring right before, as this was the first major surgery I've had. Made sure I was comfortable post-op, and I believe I received a call from her office a couple days into recovery checking up on me and making sure all was well. Went to see her two weeks later for follow-up. I was concerned it was infected and she was quick to prescribe me ointment to assist the incision with healing. Diagnosed with Endometriosis, and honestly relieved because every doctor I've gone to for the past four years has left me undiagnosed. I would gladly recommend her to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
