List of Jennifer Ayscue's Reviews
Dr. Ayscue clearly explained my health situation and was very approachable. I am thankful to her entire staff for their kindness and patience.
Just fantastic
Very friendly and reassuring Extremely thorough which is greatly appreciated. I liked her very much.
The best experience, right on top of everything. Great staff
Very patient, and takes the time to listen and understand what problems you are having. Fully and thoroughly explains procedures and anything else that she will be doing
Besides saving my life Jennifer and her staff were the the most professional, knowledgeable and helpful people I could pray for. Everything went as planned and I couldn't ask for better support and commitment. They made a life changing surgery calm and confident. Thank you Dr Ayscue, Dr. Jesudoss and staff and you all were unbelievable!!! Thank you!!!
She was the best doctor I've ever had.Very carding, and thoroughly went over the whole procedure with me before hand.I rate her 5 stars
Dr Ayscue was not compassionate and did not take the time to look at any records before the appointment, or even look at the notes the nurse wrote? And said she does not deal with anything but the colon. So therefore she would not address issues connecting to the colon? How can a doctor isolate one piece of the body. Very very disappointed.
In the past 2 years I visited Dr. Jennifer Ayscue numerous time due to an health issue. Due she couldn't get a solution to my problem, she recommend to get a colonoscopy. The procedure was schedule for 02/15/21 at MEDSTAR in DC. After the procedure which it cost me $8,223.12 (which I considered extremely excessive and exorbitant) Dr. Ayscue called me and she said "I don't know what the problem is, I HAVE NO IDEA and I recommend that you consult with a Dermatologist" I feel extremely disappointed with Dr. Ayscue because I was her patient for almost 2 years without any solution, the procedure that she recommended was not only ridiculously expensive but her answer to my issue was unprofessional with a complete lack of empathy toward her patient and rude.
I’ve had several procedures performed by this provider at Medstar. All of them have went smoothly. Recently, the administrative office contacted me to let me know there was problem with a payment from 2 years ago! This didn’t make any sense bc my insurance was fully active at that time and I’ve had procedsures since then using the same insurance. I was Confused as to why no one contacted me earlier and why they would continue to see me and perform procedures. Also, it didn’t make sense that all of the other procedures were paid for and not this one if all the procedures were the same and the insurance was the same. The person I originally Spoke with acknowledged this didn’t make sense and felt there had been an error. Later, I was Contacted I told I needed To pay the full amount totaling a large sum. The administrative staff was rude and made several statements that were definitely micro aggressions and negative assumptions about my social economic status. I tried to rectify the situation and see how it could be fixed and the staff person was unwilling to work with me or give me any helpful information. The result is that the office forwarded the debt to a law firm for collections. I found the administrative practice to be incompetent and the process to be extremely unprofessional. This isn’t patient friendly and I’ve never experienced anything like this. I recommend Going somewhere more organized bc you while the provider is great, no one wants to have to worry about getting a bill years later bc the staff doesn’t know how to properly bill and code.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
