My father had melanoma and I need to be screened by a dermatologist regularly. My previous doctor in Michigan was very thorough: he used a scope/loupe to evaluate all blemishes and had an assistant taking notes so that on the next visit changes could be revealed. In contrast, Dr. Kirk, although a amiable person, simply perused me visually without any special lenses, took no notes and sent me on my way after 10 minutes.

I have seen Dr Kirk for a few years. He is thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable, and punctual. What else could you ask for in a dermatologist?

I was welcomed with a very warm reception. And being a vet the kind receptionist gave me a red white and blue pen. Very thoughtful . Dr kurk and staff was very professional And very kind and made me feel at ease. Important to me is cleanliness And the facility was very well-kept . I would recommend this office . Also Dr Kurk is one of the few Doctors in the area that takes veterans outsourced from the VA .

Found it odd that when I called to schedule an appointment I was first asked what insurance I had and then advised that they are not accepting new patients.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Kirk for nearly three years now. He is always respectful, kind, and professional. He doesn't pressure you or try to talk you into procedures you don't need. In fact, he even told us that we could come back in 18 months, instead of the normal 12 months because we had no issues. He isn't like some who say, "I'm going to see you back in a month." He seems to really care about his patients and his fees are very reasonable.
