List of Joseph Ignacio's Reviews
I don’t understand the other reviews at all. Dr Ignacio is amazing and his staff goes above and beyond. No doctor will read or explain labs ordered by another specialty and anyone who works in healthcare like I do will understand that. However, Dr Ignacio is an expert in his field and literally saved my kid’s life, so my son can be a happy kid again, enjoy life as he should.
18 years ago, Dr. Ignacio was able to diagnose my son, who was 1 at the time, where another Peds GI didn't have a clue for months... Dr. Ignacio was able to diagnose him and get him to start showing improvement within weeks! Now Dr. Ignacio is my 11 year old daughters GI, for UC, and is still just as amazing as he was 18 years ago. Office staff in NPR is AMAZING! Kelly is AMAZING! They answer any and all questions I have, even if I ask 100 times. My kids have always loved Doc, even my children who aren't his patients and just have interaction with him during their siblings appt. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!!!
We have been with Ignacio for 6 years! He is amazing! When other GI doctors wanted to pump formulas in my baby, Ignacio was on board with me to incorporate real food blends for food options. My son has thrived and is now eating small amounts by mouth as well! I found a doctor I can trust and who listens to my concerns and wants for my child’s development. 5 Stars All the way!
I had to do 11 days of extensive stool sample collections for my son and they couldn't give me all the results at one appointment. After getting the results he pushed having my ONE YEAR OLD into an endoscopy when it isn't medically necessary. Any doctor who writes "recommended EGD/sigmoidoscopy but Dad says its not going to happen" should have a lesson in customer service and being a kind human being. You're in the wrong occupation if you can't handle us parents wanting more options than straight an endoscopy for our one year old. Shame on you.
Unfortunately my experience wasn’t good! He won’t really answer my questions and blamed the allergist office on not having results back. I felt my son was just a number and could care less about the agony we have been going through in the last month. His staff is clueless and unhelpful, they are always blaming the other Dr or specialist as to why they don’t have test results.. even when you pull results out of your purse, he still won’t give the time to read them and even said to me they were a bunch of numbers he didn’t understand???. I will avoid Dr. Ignacio and his staff for as long as I can. They have no sympathy!
Wonderful doctor that is very genuine and was amazing with my daughter. He was very thorough with his assessment and staff was very friendly. Absolutely recommend if you need someone for your son/daughter.
Worst staff. Stay away. Erica is extremely annoying. Does not know what is she doing.
Dr. Ignacio is great, but his office staff at Pediatric Gastroenterology on Fletcher is clueless. They have no idea what they're doing, don't call you with lab results, mess up forms, and generally have an attitude that they don't care. They also lie and tell you they left you a message when they definitely have not. I would not recommend ANYONE use this office.
He is very considerate and thoughtful. He takes his time to listen and understand what is happening. Does not rush you in and out. He is generally concerned about you. I would recommend to any parent who needs a knowledgeable caring physician. He is GREAT!
He doesn't care about his patient and he order not important investigations to children. when we want him to evaluate our child, people in his office said ok you can come but the nurse practitioner will see you not him ! He said, if you want to get another GI doctor's opinion go ahead when our pediatrician spoke with him about my child case !! I don't recommend him to anyone who care about his child !!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
