She says one to you then calls my regular Dr and tells her I needed a c-section. Not once did she tell me this. She told me my fluids were good babies growth is good a week ahead for 8 months then the last 2 weeks says baby is behind a week. She never spends time with me I try to ask her questions and she wants to hurry up and send you out the door. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. Nurses at the off in sarasota memorial dint know how to use the blood pressure machines. The ultrasound techs take crappy pics of your baby cuz their in such a hurry to send you out. I was never once rude to any of them. And at beginning of pregnancy she tried saying baby had downsyndrome cuz she didn't see her nose bone. Well baby has a nose bone I had other Dr look at pics. Not sure how she's a specialist. She never checked my urine for high protein until.2 weeks before delivery. I felt like she doesn't know what she's doing she shouldn't be a Dr period.

Dr. Raimer used shame an intimidation “counsel” me. I would never wish such a terrible situation on anyone, especially someone dealing with a high-risk pregnancy like me.

It would not be fair to other pregnant women to not disclose what a HORRIBLE experience I had with this physician and practice. In my 2007 pregnancy, I did NOT see Dr. Raimer once during my laboring. In labor 18hrs, and pushed (tug of war with a towel /RN) at 9.5cm dialated for two straight hrs. My baby was stuck in my birth canal, HR dropped to 70bpm, her head circumference was <100&#037; (measured size 3 mo. HC&#037; @ birth). I needed a cesection but NEVER saw the OB. My frame is tiny. Dr.R was too busy! 6 yrs later I am having complications of a likely rectal-vaginal fistula. I see more specialists b/c of this group. Ignorantly(naïve) I used same OB in 2011, 2nd pregnancy. I was on 40 weeks of broad spectrum antibiotics for a UTI that wouldn't resolve (thanks fistula from1st). I was told NOT to take probiotics w/all the antibiotics b/c I wasn't already on them. After son's birth I was Dx'd w/microscopic colitis from absurd overuse of antibiotics. Please, don't walk, but run elsewhere.

to make it short, be aware of one thing: DR. RAIMER will decide about your birth experience! Not you. Not your baby. NOTHING will happen in a natural way. She is a busy doctor and she needs that delivery suite for the next patient! Don't expect her to answer your questions or to talk with you in privacy!The moment you go there, SHE is the one who decides. I trusted Dr. Raimer and liked her very much during my pregnancy. But the delivery was a disaster. I am a nurse, so i don't have any problems with hospitals! And if there are any medical reasons to augment or induce, I'm fine with that! But it is not right of her to interfere just for her own convenience.If a woman has the very first contractions and everything is as it should be,there's no reason to induce! That leads to even more problems for mother and baby!!! She's well known as an expert in high-risk-pregnancies and I don't doubt her qualification for that field. But if you want a "normal" birth, get the hell out of her office!

I really loved Dr. Raimer overall. Highly recommend the whole practice. She delivered our baby and did the prenatal care. Staff is amazing: prompt, kind, never rushing you (even though there is rarely a wait), and return calls quickly. Dr. Raimer made sure that we were seen regularly for my high risk pregnancy. At delivery, she took proper precautions without being alarmist. She was calm and helped the process go very smoothly (even though my baby had a few complications).
