List of Mark Piper's Reviews
I have been going to Dr. Piper for years. I originally saw him when he was on 9th Street North in Saint Petersburg Florida but now that he has moved to Seminole I have started going back to him. I highly recommend Dr. Piper to anyone who is afraid to go to the dentist.
All one can really say is Thank you Thank you to Dr.Piper !!! I had years of pain off and on for years my regular dentist at time just wrote it off after his retirement my younger dentist tried and no help sent me to orthodontist after a year of trying he recommend Dr Piper ... my joints where deteriorating due to arthritis . Dr Piper and his staff where very professional and knowledgeable It’s been almost a year and Iv had NO pain !! He’s the Best and Dr Shaw is super great too!! I highly recommend !!! 👍🏻👍🏻😁
Amazing and thorough work ethic is excelente. And he expect that from everyone. Love this doctor.
Dr. Piper, misdiagnosed my wife, caused her severe psychological trauma by claiming that she has incurable and debilitating CRPS I. This was denied by a CRPS expert from Washington University hospital. Dr. Piper charged us $1950 for a useless 2-hour session. He treated my wife in a humiliating, condescending way without providing any useful information and did not provide any answers. He kept repeating "You must own your problem." And he compared her alleged CRPS to a "kicked dog."
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Piper. He is amazingly talented and sincerely cares about his patients.
Dr Piper took me on as a patient thirty years ago . One doctor and another tried and failed to correctly diagnose me. From then until now, he has performed four TMJ surgeries on me. Each one a success. In between surgeries I was involved in auto accidents and two work related injuries. If not for his excellent expertise, I wouldn't even be able to open my mouth. Patients from all over the globe come to St Petersburg as a last resort after suffering many for years to find Dr Piper and his capable staff for healing and answers . Dr Piper shares his knowledge with numerous other professionals yearly in his facility of learning. In doing so, numerous patients are correctly diagnosed and treated . Over the years , I have recommended Dr. Piper to several individuals . Each one successfully treated.
He took great care of me and got the information he needed to proceed into surgery and I'll be a year out on Saturday
The most caring and knowledgeable doctor i have met.
Understands severe TMJ better than anyone I saw for help. My condition was grim at the time. Improvement after a series of surgery is miraculous.
I had tmj surgery done by Dr Piper. All was fine until there were complications post-op. The stitches came out a few days after surgery and you could see into my ear. It was bleeding and gross. I was told over the phone "it's no big deal, we'll check it when you come in next." A week later. I also had trouble with the post op therapy machine running smoothly, it would jerk to one side. Dr Piper put it in my mouth and held it there watching it happen as tears ran down my face. I finally pushed his hands away and took it out of my mouth because the pain was more than I could take. He kicked me out of the exam room because I was crying and said,"when you can act like an adult, I'll let you come back in my office. Until then, you can sit in the hall." He showed me to a chair in the corner of the hallway and left me there for an hour, like I was a child being punished for something. I just wanted a machine that didn't hurt me and yank my jaw. At that point he'd gotten paid by the insurance for the surgery, and didn't need me anymore and didn't want to deal with anything less than a "perfect patient." I felt used and abused. I've never been treated so horribly by anyone, much less by a medical professional. I never returned to his office after that and got treatment elsewhere. He's not worth the hype or the money. There are plenty of other providers who will truly care about your long term recovery and be there beginning to end for you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
