Son in hospital for gallbladder removal. Hospital pages him since he was on call. 24plus hours he has not acknowledged the page leaving patient in extreme pain can't eat or drink. Hope he is having a nice day ignoring patients

Savedy Dads life at St Pete General around 10 years ago after his bladder and prostate were removed and his intestines were nicked by another surgeon,Dr.Couch came in and told me he was taking him back to surgery to try to save his life,well "he did save his life" and still alive at 83. Thank you Dr. Couch!

I would not let Dr. Couch touch my dog let alone a loved one. In 2010 he did surgery on my mother. She had diverticulitis. Her intestines ruptured and he did emergency surgery on her. Long story short 3 days latter she had severe abdominal pain. Come to find out the stitches broke open in her stomach and made her sepsis had to be taken in for another emergency surgery. She passed away. Northside Hospital is the worst Hospital in the State of Florida, why do you think they are right next to a grave yard?? Hummm......

I had double hernia surgery performed robotically by Dr Couch. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend him. The staff at St Petersburg General were also top notch!

I had my port removed on Monday and he refused to give me any pain meds, that is very cruel and cold hearted. This was the 3rd time I've had the same scar tissue opened up. I am sore and miserable from it. I get told take tynol and it does nothing. If you have to have surgery do NOT choose him.. run the other way. If I could give zero stars I would.

Well I was operated on my colon Monday this is Thursday and have not heard from him yet.he did not come talk to me after the surgey.the nurse said he would call and took my number.so 4 days later and still in severe pain.

Had a hernia repair done back in 2015 like another reviewer. Dr. Couch explained everything, and he and his team were very supportive before, during, and after. I woke in a panicked daze from the surgery, and they were able to calm me down and get me to focus on getting my oxygen and blood sugar stable so I could go home.

Dr.Couch has been taking care ofy husband for years now and he amputated my husband's right leg below the knee in May of this year and did an excellent job. He was and is very tentative with his patients and answered all my questions I asked with compassion
