Nicholas Laryngakis's Online Review Report Card

Had an unnecessary surgery. Left with a huge scar. Seems like a nice guy, but at the end of the day problems went unresolved.

I have had several office visits and one surgical procedure with Dr Nicholas Laryngakis. I am a retired nurse and very observant during my medical care. The staff at the St.Pete Urology have been friendly, profession and take the time to explain the procedures. Dr Laryngakis takes his time to explain and answer questions before exams and procedures. He took extra precautions prior to my surgical procedure and made me feel safe while in the hospital. I am beyond satisfied with his skills and the outcome of my surgery. St.Petersburg is lucky to have such a qualified Doctor and Staff. Pay raises for Doctor and his Staff!

Doctor is excellent and he's very thorough. Also had a lithotripsy and it was an excellent procedural experience.

I am writing this a year after being referred to this “Doctor” after a hospital stay. I was dx with cancer in 2017. It was treated and removed by some of THE BEST Drs @ Duke. I went to see him due to an infection and extreme pain in my pelvis. he was rude and unprofessional minimizing my symptoms and concerns. He addressed nothing and told me to go to pain management. He also called my primary to tell her I was drug seeking. I have NEVER been accused of this, ever. I had legitimate concerns as I had just dealt with cancer within the last 5 years. This “DR” treated me as if I was an addict despite my previous medical history. the visit with him deterred me from seeking care anywhere as I did not want to be labeled and judged. the past year it has gotten progressively worse. I finally had to be seen after not being able to walk and passing out. The masses on my lower back and groin present as cancer. I am now waiting on MRI and biopsy. I hope nobody treats his family members like this.

I had an enlarged prostate and Dr Laryngakis performed green light surgery. I had it performed at Bayfront Hospital, which is now part of Orlando health. I couldn't be more pleased with both the Dr and Bayfront. Everything went great. Dr Laryngakis is a very caring Dr with a great staff.

I feel so fortunate that Dr. Laryngakis was there when I needed him in the St. Anthony’s Hospital Emergency Room. I credit him along with the ER doctor with saving my life when I had a very serious infection. He immediately diagnosed my problem. I later needed major surgery but he answered all my questions in a calm and professional way. Plus, he is a nice, caring person. I’m now doing well.

Dr. Laryngakis is hands down the best Urologist! My name is Diane J. I am a current patient of this physician. It brings tears to my eyes to think the decades of battling UTI's. From my first visit, this is a doctor that looks to solve problems. He is one of the few physicians that is trained in robotics, which in my case, was used to remove kidney stones. He called me on a Friday, and said we're going to get these stones out, and we are going to admit you today because if you were one of my family members, this is how I would proceed. Not once, but twice, Dr. Laryngakis removed my stones due to my now known chronic problem with stones. For the first time in decades, I am not in a cycle of never ending UTI's. My prayers were answered with Dr. Laryngakis, I highly recommend him, not only for his expertise, and robotics training, but also his caring bedside manner. Truly, a rare combination these days.

Obviously uncomfortable news can be unsettling. Doctor Laryngakis was very informative and patient in making sure I understood my options, allowing me the time and information I needed to decide on the right course of action for me. The surgery went well, he kept my wife informed throughout and the robotic surgery he performed helped recovery go extremely well. I am four months post op and no more cancer.

New to St.Pete Urology and Dr. Laryngakis. Outstanding service and commitment to my health and needs. Been there several times and always excellent service. Short wait times. I couldn’t be happier in choosing Dr. Laryngakis and St. Pete Urology. I strongly recommend.
