List of Paul Dimarco's Reviews
I’ve known this doctor since he was at BayCare. I finally found him again in St. Petersburg, and I could not be any happier! He has a great sense of humor, and he’s very thorough on how he takes care of you! I would refer him to anyone.
Dr DiMarco was terrific. I went in as a first-time patient. He already had information from my previous hospital visits. He asked a lot of questions. He asked if I had any questions and answered them. I didn't feel rushed. He made sure I knew I could call and ask questions. I highly recommend him as an endocrinologist.
He's very thorough and never rushes my appointment. Knowledgeable about new drugs and benefits, as well interactions.
For over 20 years this office has given patients MY HOME phone number as their office number! My landline, home phone ends in 58 while their office number ends in 38. The business cards had fancy script for their phone number which seems to have been part of the problem. As a result, many times I've gotten home from work late in the day to hear messages from patients desperate to make an appt w/ Dr. Dimarco. I always call them back, but it is always after 5 pm. I thought that the problem was solved once they moved their office downtown, but today, April 6, 2023 I received a call from a patient trying to reach Dr. Dimarco's office. It would be funny if it wasn't so serious. Please make sure your patients know your correct phone number. Sometimes PCP offices give patients MY HOME NUMBER when referring a patient to Dr. Dimarco since it was recorded incorrectly in their records!
Fantastic Dr. No nonsense and treats systemically not symptoms
It’s so hard to find a good endo and Dr. Dimarco is amazing. Super easy to talk to, understanding and empathetic.
Very kind, and understanding. Great experience!
Took a while to get this appointment scheduled as they only had one person running the office at the time. Now there are several working the operations. Dr. DiMarco is restarting his practice from a 15-month sabbatical. Being in healthcare, I know a good physician when I see one. He was personable and spent a lot of time with me as a first patient. These days, doctors are on a clock of 15 minutes and that is it. He spent a good 30-45 minutes to get my background as I have had a lot going on this year. He set up some bloodwork and my bone densitometry baseline study. He did not insist on setting up another appointment (money annuity program) after the labs and study that he would call with the results. That is if everything is good if not, then an appointment. He was very thorough and personable. He is old style where patients not money comes first. I highly recommend.
The doctor is decent and attentive to the patient's needs. However the staff failed to inform me that they did not accept my secondary/supplemental insurance and the bill was a surprise. Since my primary insurance was Medicare the bill came 7 months after the first visit and I will likely get one more bill even though I cancelled all further visits.
Dr. DiMarco has been my doctor for over 30 years. I cannot say enough about what a great doctor he has been. He is irreplaceable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
