Imagine watching your child have one asthma attack after another and not being able to get care. It's stressful and infuriating, because it shouldn't happen and you're entirely reliant on doctors to help. My child only has asthma when she does sports, but she's an athlete so it's a major problem. I contacted this practice, explained the problem, and asked if they tested for exercise-induced asthma. I was told yes. The day of the appt came and they put my child through extensive scrape allergy testing and the standard blow-type of lung function testing. Purswani determined that my child did not have asthma. She said that they do not do exercise-induced asthma testing and we'd have to go elsewhere(!). Now we're waiting months yet again to get into another practice. In the meantime, I learn from our pediatrician that Purswani could have just had my child run around or up and down the stairs, which is how most doctors diagnose it. Purswani either didn't know or didn't care. I'm so angry.
