Dr. Sheppard is an amazing doctor! My last doctor wanted to put me on medication that made it difficult to function. Dr. Sheppard listens and is willing to come up with a treatment plan that we are both happy with. I wouldn’t trust my heart to anyone else.

My husband had 2 heart ablations previously with a different EP doctor that were both unsuccessful. Dr. Sheppard went in and found the problem quickly and said the other doctor was in the wrong spot! He is personable and knows what he is doing! Great cardiologist, I highly recommend him.

I’ve been alive for 64 years. Never met a less professional doctor in my life. I had a cardiac ablation at Northside Hospital and became very sick a couple of days after the procedure. I had a temp of 102.9 and was nauseous and achy all over. He was the on call doctor and when he got on the phone he practically shouted at me and said “SO WHAT IS YOUR QUESTION!? When it took me two seconds to answer he started saying “HELLO? HELLO?! I said I wasn’t feeling well and asked if the nurse had told him my symptoms. He said, “YEAH, BUT A FEVER AND PAIN ISN'T MUCH TO GO ON.” What was the procedure? I said an ablation. He chuckled and said that’s awfully vague. I said for tachycardia. In a loud voice he said “ WHAT KIND OF TACHYCARDIA??” I said you’re the doctor how would I know? So he shouted, laughed, and belittled me all in one call. A heart patient who nearly died multiple times this year and was very nervous, sick, and scared. This is not who you want for a doctor.

Dr. Sheppard is a wonderful doctor...but more than that, he is kind, not rushed, funny and has a wonderful , professional personality. I always look forward to having an appointment with him He answers my questions thoroughly and well thought out. He is the Best!

We are fortunate to have the experience of Dr. Sheppard in our community. He is a well established practitioner in the field of cardiac electrophysiology and has made a recent positive intervention in addressing my cardiac arrythmia as well as that of my husband a year ago. He shows genuine concern for his patients and provides detailed explanations.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sheppard for over 20 years. He is an excellent doctor and is always open to your opinion which I think is exceptional not all doctors are this way. He is very kind, caring, and extremely talented as a doctor. I feel very blessed to have him as my doctor. I think he is best in this area. I highly recommend him. One of a kind doctor.
