List of Shari Anthony's Reviews
I have a prescription that I take daily that I need to have an appointment for to make sure I refill every year apparently. I was not informed that I needed to do this and so the pharmacy just stopped filling it all of the sudden and said they were waiting for my doctor to authorize filling my prescription. That was 2 weeks ago and my Dr. Anthony has not called the pharmacy back or called me to tell me about needing an appointment. My body is not reacting well to being off my prescription and Dr. Anthony's office is just brushing me off like it's nothing. This is the first time this has happened but it shouldn't happen ever I will no longer be going to see her, and I suggest if you need anything like reaccuring medication you do not see her either.
Dr. Anthony was recommended by a friend of mine. I’ve probably seen her a total of 4 times. I’ve had a subpar experience at each of these appointments. Her attentiveness to her patients is horrible. She is not personable or sympathetic and seems very annoyed during the entire appointment. She knows her stuff, I’ll give her that. But I’m not willing to compromise my comfort for that. I’m now looking for a new primary MD.
Dr. Anthony never provided me a diagnosis for anything. It was almost as if she was waiting for me to tell her what to do. I even recommended my own BP medicine when the one she prescribed didn’t work. Then, during the pandemic, she refused to fill my BP medicine without a tele-med visit with me. The portal was difficult to use and it took me forever to get in. Once I got in Dr. Anthony logged in for LESS THAN 3 minutes and agreed to refill my prescriptions. I was then charged like a normal office visit ($150) for this LESS THAN 3 minute inconvenience. I guess when you are making over $50 per MINUTE, you don’t have to care. I’ll never go back to her again after that.
Dr. Anthony does not care at all about her patients and this has become even more evident during the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic she would require that I come in twice a year max to refill my meds for slightly elevated blood pressure, but now she is requiring I have a virtual visit with her almost monthly (can’t take my bp virtual) my ins is no longer covering. I have requested multiple times to see her in person, but staff have told me she is on a reduced schedule for in office visits and she can never get me in until weeks later. They have even asked for a special request to accommodate my need to be seen in person not only because my insurance coverage but also because I had an acute issue that I knew needed to be swabbed and sent for testing as I’ve had this issue in the past but she refused to accommodate my needs and said she could see me on her next available date for a face to face visit which as over 3 weeks out. She’s lazy and uncaring. I could give many more examples.
I’ve been a hospital RN for half my life and I can say I’m impressed by Dr Anthony’s clinical skills, patient advocacy, diligence in obtaining objective and subjective information. I also would like to commend her Medical Assistant Vanessa for her prompt handling of requested required ancillary paperwork for tests, meds, etc. The front office staff have always been kind, considerate and efficient.
Dr Anthony,Thank you for help me!! You always go above and beyond to make sure that your patients are taken care! Dr. Anthony you Awesome she truly care about each and everyone person who comes to your office and a big shout out to everyone in the office for always making me and every so welcome! The customer service is exceptionally outstanding at every point of contact!!! You Team ROCK!!!Stephen
Dr. Shari is always conscientious, attentive, and quite cordial. She has always been comprehensive in her review of my current situation, whatever that might be at the time. She seems to do a great job of keeping current, as well, which must be a huge challenge in Internal Medicine these days. I have recommended her to others, and they later thanked me. I will recommend her again if asked.
These negative reviews are shocking to me. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with both the office staff & Dr Anthony. She is great, patient and very knowledgeable. I’ve gotten results in a timely manner, always get same day or next day appointments and they are very thorough with the patient portal.
My experience with this doctor and the staff? NOT GOOD!!!! RUDE office staff! This is honestly the first review I've ever written. Ever! The previous doctor and staff were great and helpful! Dr. De La Cruz was awesome and as well as the staff. Now there are way more doctors and way more staff but the bedside manner and polities are out the door. This review is based on my experience only over the past couple of years and not meant to smear the doctor or staff. I respect professionals but also believe in customer service above all. I'm never going there again and I'm quite they won't miss me!
My wife is only a patient of Dr Anthony out of convenience because we live close. We are actively looking for somewhere else to go. I go with my wife to her appointments because she is very intimidated by Dr. Anthony. She is far from warm and cuts you off constantly. She doesn't knock on the door before she comes in ever, which I thought was kind of rude. My wife needed refills while at her last appointment for 8 of her medications but because it was too many, doctor anthony told us to call the pharmacy to send a request to make sure they were due. I didn't understand this because we knew we needed these meds because we have been waiting on refills for a while and she wouldn't fill them until we came in for an appointment. It was so frustrating and seemed super lazy of her. After all of this she messed up the refills . Another thing that is strange is how she dresses.it isn't very professional because her dresses are so short. Maybe I'm old fashioned but i think doctors should look neat and professional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
