St. Petersburg Free Clinic's Online Review Report Card

Great place. They saved my life as I'm not eligible for help from the county or anywhere else, having worked for myself most of my life. Nowhere else could I even get prescriptions for the meds I need to keep going. I feel well taken care of by the staff at St Pete Free Clinic.Added 9/11/2021:Just wanted to add that the new Dental Clinic is great. They only do extractions and fillings, no fancy stuff, but what do you want for free? Oh yeah, besides the fillings and teeth pulling they also offer dentures. Looks like I'm getting a complete upper after they pull my last two molars. Looks like I'll be on the soft food diet until the dentures are ready.Again, great place and highly recommend!

Severely disappointed the staff could definitely use compassion I saw a couple other complaints for the same reason and I thoroughly agree. I really miss the first doctor I saw she seemed to understand that I was trying to find an underlying condition but the doctor that replaced her is arrogant and uneducated and the topic that I was researching because of my ailments. Turns out I was 100% right. The only problem is the offer to help was quickly denied with the excuse while they don't provide that help even though the website says it does. See you guys might as well remove Carol's story off of the internet because that's what inspired me to come here you don't seem to understand that ER stable is the problem and doctors are supposed to take the time to find out what the underlying condition is that causes it. I will be returning soon to drop off 27 articles from NIH.com proving my case. Simply because her attitude needs an adjustment, by the way you're going to kill somebody someday with that attitude. I went in with high hopes and was completely humiliated after the 4th attempt to get an answer.

they open at 8:30 am I've been trying to call to find out my mother's appt time today since 8:30 and nobody answers it says the office is closed when it should be open. aggravating. someone switch the after hours auto voicemail off please and thank you!

They are allowing people to have their masks under their chin. I'm only here because I'm in Desperate need of insulin. Why should my life be risked at a health clinic and now the attendance just got right in my face as I wrote her name down and said she could ask me to leave as im not cooperating. Really.

My primary experience has been with the dental department of the clinic. Theres so much I could say, I could literally write a book detailing the benefits of being a patient there, but in the interest of saving time, I will just sum it up in one word , a 'blessing'. Thank you to the director for envisioning such a benevolent program, the time, effort and research you put into ensuring the patients there get the best care possible is so respected,appreciated and valued. Thank you yo the dentists who take time out of their busy schedules or days off from work to serve those desperately in need of the services they provide ( especially w/ the year we are having) . And thank you to the empathetic , patient , warm, welcoming staff who go above and beyond with their customer service to assist the patients/ clients and ensure comfort during their visit ( emotionally as well as physicaly.).......ok, so I did write a book. Lol. Hope this helps anyone considering coming help with their decision

This place is a great resource to the community. Keep in mind, if you're not an existing client, you will NOT be able to walk in and be seen that same day. You must show up on intake days and they will give you an appointment. If you need emergency services, that's what emergency rooms are for. This place will help you with the majority of your health needs. They do not prescribe narcotics, which is a great thing in my opinion. Their employees are pleasant and helpful.

I couldn't live without this place! They have helped me out tremendously. From Dr.s,medicine, dental care, therapy & even chiropractic care. They've helped me with mind, body & soul!!! Soooooooooo extremely grateful for this place & all the people who work here. They really do want to help.
