The Dr. is okay. The staff is the reason I left. Every six months I have to fill out paper work and provide medicare cards and I. D. Wish they were this concerned when it comes time for voting. I told the staff that I would not be doing this again. I asked them to make a note in my folder. Well, they didn't listen. I needed to be cleared for a surgery so I was given an appointment to see a PA. When I got there they asked if my current address was the same as well as insurance? I said yes, then they asked for medicare card and I. D. I informed them about my previous stance on filling out paper work. The person at the window proceeded to tell me that if I didn't comply, I could not be seen and therefore would miss my surgery. I walked out of the office and found a NEW Dr. within one and a half hours. He saw me the following day and I watched the people coming into his office. The seats didn't get warm. During filling out info I noticed 4 people come in. They were all seen by the time I was to see Dr. Mark Nowacki. I didn't get checked in and told to sit in a room for an hour. Nice change! I was also told, I didn't have to fill out paper work every six months. There was one staff person, not three, and he didn't need a nurse. You don't have to put up with power hungry staff, there are tons of Dr.'s in the area.

A family member was told Dr. Carlson will no longer provide care. Appointments are canceled a few weeks of being made and rescheduled out 8 months, providing no explanation. On a Friday afternoon appointment, he rushes you out the door. "It's Friday, it's time to get out of here." Professional? Questionable at best. My experience with the office staff has not been helpful.
