TRUST ME, DR ABEL DESERVES A TOP RATING 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I HAVE BEEN IN THE MEDICAL FIELD FOR OVER TWO DECADES AND HAVE MET AND WORKED WITH MANYYY PHYSICIANS. DR. ABEL IS HANDS DOWN THE MOST THOROUGH, KIND, DETAILED, UNDERSTANDING, COMPASSIONATE DOCS AND A GREAT LISTENER. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Dr. Is best in town but the staff is absolutely rude. They canceled my husband's appointment and didn't tell him. They said they left a message, there was no message. I called to ask to speak to whom ever is in charge and they gave me the 3rd degree. If any of the employees read this YOU ARE NOT GOD! CALM DOWN KAREN!!!

Dr. Abel has been my pulmonologist for 4 years now and came highly recommended. His reputation is well deserved. I have never experienced any mistreatment by his staff; his nurse, Neece, is a gem. However, the wait times to see Dr. Abel are long. I think that is because he spends whatever time is needed with his patients, responding in depth to any questions/concerns I might have. I have learned to bring reading material with me and expect a wait. However, it would be nice for the staff to allow for this in their scheduling.

Dr. Abel is one of the best Pulmonary physicians in Pinellas county, However His office staff is rude, unconcerned , selective and Seem to think that a paying customer owes them something. I hate to leave the best lung doctor in area , but I will not be treated so unjust by staff members. I was required to wait 4 hours while they pushed a person ( that was not an Emergency) who did not even have an appointment in , in front of me. Took him in, then took me to a small exam room, where I waited for an additional 1&1/2 hours, after sitting in waiting room 2 hours. I then miss a 4:00pm appointment with a friend.

In an after-hospitalization visit, Dr. Abel prescribed not only a chest X-ray (pulmonary related) but also an ultrasound of my legs and some blood work, which probably should have been prescribed by my cardiologist or General Practitioner. I thought he was very careful and thorough.

DR. Abel was very thorough in assessing my husband's health and ordered tests to determine underlying causes of his issues, although they were not considered critical. He spent time and was very professional . I would recommend him for your pulmonary issues.

They should have more doctors like Dr Abel. He has so much paticies and spends all the time needed with you in a crisis. Differently the Dr to have in a crises. He has a wonderful staff that works with him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Abel's for nine years. He has always spent ample time with me when I go in and is very thorough with each visit. He is kind, patient and listens to his patients concerns. I would wait all day if necessary to see Dr. Abel. Wish he was my primary doctor.

Absolutely the BEST!!! Dr. Able has litteraly saved my life several times. He is the type of doctor they no longer make more of. I would 100% reccomend him in any instance!
