He listens and explains what your problem is that is causing pain. He takes his time during your appointment. He looks at your radiologist films and shows you where the issues are that cause pain.

I had some serious pain issues in my right shoulder, Dr. Luo discussed a planned procedure. We went forward with the procedure we discussed and within six weeks, I am nearly pain free after three years. I able to sleep and do other things without the nagging pain.

Dr Ma Luo has been my Spine and Rib Doctor for over 3 years. I cannot have surgery due to other major medical conditions!!! He has reduced my back and rib pain by 90% over extended periods. I have been to many spine doctors over the years with no relief. At the age of 75 I have found a doctor who truly cares and has taken my pain away and I am now able to work in my yard and play with my flowers!!! Thank you Dr Luo for Cartland fixing me up!!!!😊😊😊

The first time I met Dr. Luo, he was kind, understanding, very knowledgeable, and explained how he was going to assist me with my pain relief. I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Luo and his office team they are all wonderful and I look forward to future care from him and his wonderful staff.

We went for 4 months and have had no relief. He prescribed a new medication that did not help and upon telling him the sever side effects we were experiencing, he said to keep taking and give it time to work. When we finally couldn't take the effects and requested to be taken off he simply said to stop taking them. Upon further research on my OWN, we found that we should've been tapered off since it is an opioid and could cause MORE severe effects and damage. We will not be returning after he put our life in danger.

Dr. Luo has been treating me for neck and lumbar spine issues for almost 2 yrs, with extremely good results. After working in the medical field for 40 yrs before retirering, I would highly recommend Dr. Luo.

Caring about your patients is such a big characteristic in a dr. When your dr doesn’t care about you or what you’re going through you get the worse care and I experienced it first hand. As he hides behind his computer not reading me any results or listening to me. As I said numerous times I don’t want opioids, I’m in pain, it hurts here, my symptoms are worsening and yet none of those things were taken into account. There was no “managing of pain” being done. You just kept prescribing me more pills when I said I need to find a fix not a bandaid. For someone with asthma I should’ve never been put on an opioid medication that causes breathing problems in the first place. For someone on an opioid medication after saying my fears over and over again I shouldn’t have been told “you should be fine to just stop taking it cold turkey” WITH A BRAND NEW MEDICATION ON THE MARKET! None of this is okay and all of this just added to my pain and agony. But as your staff said, “it’s my own fault”

Dr Luo and his team have ended a 10 year battle with chronic pain. I recently received a spinal stimulator.... At his recommendation now 92% improvement!
