Dr. Manuel Ybarra's Online Review Report Card

I’ve been a long time patient probably one of his oldest ones and I’ve been very disappointed and disrespected a lot lately. In the beginning he was caring, respectful and worried about my well being. Now I don’t expect to see him, I only get to see his assistant for the past year. His office staff also has the same attitude, rude and disrespectful. I guess they follow the example given. Time to find a doctor that respects his oath of providing the best possible care for his patients and not their money. Find someone else for your sake. (He probably wrote most of his positive reviews to boost his score)

Constantly blame the pharmacy for any issues. Only try to sell you Very Expensive procedures. If you have exhausted several and cannot afford more procedures then good luck seeing the doctor. This is not a Private Practice is a Corporation only looking at cashing in on Big Profits and not truly caring about patient care. Half the time you call you do not even get to speak to staff, you just get an operator. Find someone who actually care about the patient and not Just their wallet.

I feel that I have finally found a true healer. This doctor knows how to care for his patients. I am a nurse and can tell you can not do better than this doctor to diagnose and treat your pain. I am extremely grateful to have found this doctor.

Hi, Dr. Ybarra This is Kaelia Smith I just want to I'm so so sorry, I did t not mean to cause any problems with you are your staff, I did not know my insurance was not paying the my bill, until the billing clerk talk to me, when I had talk to her, she was very nice, you got the best staff, that really care about the patients, they are, courteous pleasant good heart caring loving in any other doctor's office staff I have been to. I know I can't come back, I just want you and your staff to know I'm very sorry. Please forgive me, u did not mean for that to happen. The lady in account said you lost lot of money, because of me. Just want to tell you, that be proud of your staff, I had never made quilts for all the staff of a doctor's office, that's how much, I enjoying your staff, please tell them that I'm sorry. Be safe and God bless. Can you recommend and pain management doctor. My pain is not related to any workman's comp. So my insurance will pay, I just need a good doctor. TKS.

I have seen Dr. Ybarra for years - he has NEVER given up on me. He has treated me for years beyond another pain doctor who gave up on me and wanted me to see a surgeon. I have yet to see a surgeon and have back surgery. Dr. Ybarra is compassionate and has a great personality. Have had injections, nerve ablation and even a back stimulator implant. Thank you, Dr. Y!

Please save yourself from a ton of time and frustration and find a different doctor. This “doctor” is horrible and the staff isn’t much better. I played phone tag with this office for weeks, to find out they still needed a referral from my PCP before I could schedule an appointment (this could have and should have been mentioned in one of their voicemails or they could have contact my PCP directly as they had their contact information). I got the referral done almost immediately but it still took them another week to finally return my call for an appointment. Oh but wait...more drama! The person scheduling, Leticia, asked me if I had ever seen another pain management doctor ever, and I advised her I had. To which she replied oh...we are going to have to request those records first before we can schedule an appointment and the doctor has to review those records. So, I was transferred to the Office Administrator (per my request) and told her about all of the issues I had been having with just getting an appointment! She apologized profusely and went ahead and scheduled me as I mentioned I have copies of my medical records from the prior pain management doctor that I had seen. All to show up, 30 minutes early (as per their request), already had all my new patient paperwork done and medical records from prior doctor, and did not get called back for about 20 minutes. Then once I was put into a room, I waited another 30 minutes or so for the doctor to come in. My appointment was at 8:25 am and I had been there since 7:55 am and I did not leave until 9:35 am after being told by the “pain management specialist” that he could not help me. I have many health conditions, and live in chronic pain and the pain management physician couldn’t help me. Wow. Just wow. So save your energy and find another doctor!

It took me weeks to get a hold of someone to even get an appointment and then I arrived for my 8:25 am appointment at 7:55 am, did not get seen by the doctor until 9:00 am and left at 9:30 am. Not to mention the fact that this pain management physician stated that he could not help me. A pain management specialist could not help me manage my chronic pain. I’m speechless.

Dr. Ybarra treated my husband for pain. He called my husband at home to make sure he was ok, when the doctor learned that my husband was not doing good he called everyday to ensure a prompt recovery. He was kind and he has the human caring factor that you look in a doctor. I recommend Dr. Ybarra he is the best.

I was treated with the utmost respect and explanation of what medical issues was undergoing, what treatment was gonna be done to address my condition.

This guy is all about the money. Even during a pandemic where procedures where cancelled, he was trying to drain you of money you didn't have! He would do a televisit every single time you needed to prescribe a med or change one in my case. I had just been prescribed a med that didn't work and this jerk wanted to keep prescribing crap and when it doesn't work he wants more money! Stay away from him! He never fixes anything. He just bandaids the problem so he can take all of your money! He knows NOTHING about Chiari Malformation! Stay away.
