My Mother is a current patient of Dr, Barquist. He has taken such good care of her and continues to put her needs above anything else. He has also been great at keeping our family up to date, as Mom's condition has changed. Dr. Barquist has answered every question and addressed every concern that Mom and the rest of our family has. I would highly recommend him.

Totally lacks empathy, compassion or kindness. Should not deal with patients or family. Doesn't come off as caring at all. Was flat out rude when asked any questions. My brother was in ICU for weeks and all that time they never even cleaned the blood off of his face from his accident.

He has no bedside manner. He acts so arrogant, yet it took him over six hours to remove a gallbladder. On average that same procedure takes qualified surgeons an hour. He should leave that procedure to the qualified surgeons instead of exposing a patient to anesthesia for such an extended period of time!!!!

I think Dr. Barquist is an excellent doctor. he is one of the best doctors I've ever met.
