Matthew Burry's Online Review Report Card

I would say there is a reoccurring theme about Dr. Burry and his abrasive attitude. He was 25 minutes late in the room, his tone was condescending, and did not have a computer in the room to review the MRI. I asked to discuss the MRI findings with him, so we went to the work station where his staff sits to look at the films in the middle of the practice. The radiologist report indicated severe compression to which Dr. Burry disagreed with. His attitude was so poor, that his staff "mouthed" apologies to me. From the on-set of my first appointment, they said their focus was to improve the patient experience and reviews. EPIC FAIL!

He listened to my concerns and scheduled my surgery within 2 weeks of initial visit.

Awesome experience with Dr. Burry and his wonderful staff everyone was kind, caring and professional. Dr. Burry took his time to listen to my concerns, go over my MRI and discuss his diagnosis.Thank you.

It's been 1 month since my L4-5 laminectomy by Dr Matthew Burry. The shooting pains down my legs has been eliminated and I have my mobility back. The staff at Neurohealth Sciences Center did a great job of diagnosing my issue and recommending the correct treatment, which was performed a few short weeks after the initial appointment.

I have called his office in Sanford over the past three days and all I do is leave a voicemail. Does anyone there return phone calls? When Dr Allende was there it was organized. I called a couple of weeks ago and had to call THREE times just to get a form emailed to me regarding my surgical records from Dr. Allende. Finally the manager got on the phone and emailed them to me. But she never told me where to fax them and now I can't get anyone on the phone. RED FLAG people.

Dr. Burry changed my life for the better! He managed to relieve an Unbearable headache pain that I carried for 6 years. I went to so many specialist telling me that it was migraine but it wasn’t. It was all in correlation to my shunt. He replaced my shunt for one that really suits me and my condition. I went from barely being able to get out of bed because of the pain to now being able to live my life how I should. When I had lost all hope to ever seeing a day without pain he listened and kept going. It was a long and stressful time but we got here! I also would like to say everyone in this office is very nice! I’m very thankful and blessed I went here!

Had carpal tunnel surgery on 8/27/21. Dr Burry was very helpful in explaining the procedure and went very well. Little pain after. I didn't need to use the pain medication after. 3 weeks later they took out the stitches and I already have had relief from the numbness and tingling. I am looking forward to getting the other hand done soon. Chris and Maggie were also very attentive in my interactions with them.

Dr. Burry operated my back, (Aug 12, 2021), on an emergency basis. I was in so much pain, among other symptoms. One month later, I feel great. Had my post-op visit with him and felt at ease. I got a fist bump from him at the end of my visit which was nice.
