I have been coming to see Dr. Hwang for a while now. He is informative, caring, and actually listens. The office staff is very friendly and effective. Would definitely recommend this doctor's office to anyone who needs to see a neurosurgeon.

If my insurance had another neurosurgeon contracted, I might try another opinion. Dr. Hwang is fine. I am just unsatisfied with the outcomes.

Best Neurosurgeon Ever Experienced! Dr. Hwang was highly recommended by Dr. Richard Gayles to do a laminectomy on my spine. I was so pleased that immediately after waking from the surgery, I was pain free and able to walk without limping. Six weeks later, he performed an Anterior Certival Discectomy placing 3 spreaders in my neck. In spite of cautions that I might be unable to swallow or speak right away, I was able to do both and be released from the hospital the following morning. I am a 72 year old woman and feel like I’ve gotten my life back thanks to Dr. Hwang, his surgical and after-care team at HCA Hospital, Lake Monroe and his wonderful, caring office staff.

Dr Hwang has been awesome! He did my neck surgery in February. Recovery has been difficult (because it was a difficult surgery, not because Dr H isn't a gifted surgeon) at times but Dr Hwang has been there for me every step. He has always called me back right away whenever I've called and spends as much time as I need either on the phone or at my appointments to answer questions and help me understand. His office staff and NP, Chris, are also wonderful and kind. I highly recommend Dr Hwang! I'm truly grateful for them all!😊
