This pediatrician office is awesome. The health care team is awesome. One drawback is the phone system is slow to none. You sometimes get a call back the same day or not at all. I think if they fixed this issue I would most definitely give 5 stars, not 4 stars.

My daughter started seeing Dr. Wakefield when she was born in 2021 and my son, when he was born in 2022. We live in Defuniak Springs, and it is well worth the drive for them to continue seeing him. He's an amazing doctor to them, he always listens to our concerns and always, always, addresses them. We really appreciate having him as their pediatrician.

We have seen Dr Wakefield for over 5 years. We absolutely love him♥️. He is very through with you and patient. If you have a concern he doesn't wait to see. He always sends you right away to a specialist or runs test to rule out concerns. He is very calm and kind and you know you can trust that your child is getting the best care. We used to see Dr Wakefield in Crestview 20 min drive . They moved to Mirmar . There was no doubts that we would drive an hour plus traffic to still see him.. Highly recommend.

Our children have been going to see Dr Wakefield for checkups for nearly 4 years with a new addition to the mix, every single time he is so friendly, caring, encouraging and greatly detailed on what to do next regarding milestones or any medical issue that arises. He is awesome!!!

Starting from our very first visit Dr. William Wakefield genuinely cares about the wellbeing of my child. He always takes time to listen attentively to our concerns, and answers all our questions patiently, making sure we fully understand the treatment plan. Being compassionate and friendly, Dr. Wakefield skillfully engages with my daughter, she feels safe and comfortable in the doctor’s office. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Wakefield as our pediatrician.
