He mocked me in my report that I had to ask for 4x in a year. He didn’t have a large cuff for BP taking. In the report, he blamed my larger arm. He put lies in the report. We never discussed weight loss. I thought I was going to continue to see him as my cardiologist. But, he said that it was only for one time because of my insurance. I found out that THAT isn’t true. He hardly spoke with me. While doing the tests, the ill fitting plastic shirt was getting in the way. My large breasts he didn’t like & slapped my breast to move it. I slapped him back. He had me laying down in an awkward position on my side. It was the worst exam I have ever had. He was just rude, obnoxious & unhelpful. He lied in the report. Just gross.
He was very rude and wouldn't answer questions very well. He was trying to make me feel like I was in the wrong. Also told me that my general practitioner doctor was not a doctor but a nurse only and that she knew nothing and that he was the expert. He wouldn't allow me to ask questions and instead told me to shut up and lie down. He did state that he did not need to see me again as he didn't think I needed it at this time but was very rude about it. If needed I will not return to him
He has always had my best interests at heart and takes time to get a holistic perspective on me.
superior in qualification and knowledge. He, has been my cardiologist for 25 years. needed he has been available for me when i most needed him, while I was hospitalized or on my follow up appointments with him. I am indebted to him for saving my life on many occasions.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shah in Sarasota, FL for over 15 years, as he was highly recommended by my primary care physician, Dr. Espinosa in 2008, following a routine check-up and the discovery of abnormalities with my heart via an EKG. Dr. Shah literally saved my life by continual maintenance and monitoring of my cardio vascular system. In 2018, he discovered blockage that required immediate triple by-pass surgery conducted by, Dr. Kelly at SMH. Since then, I fully recovered and have remained in maintenance treatment with Dr. Shah, to ensure my cardio health remains in check. He caught my condition before I most assuredly would have suffered a heart attack. In doing so, there was no damage and surgery was successful. I will be 73 years old in August this year, 2023. Thanks to Dr. Shah, I lead a full and productive life, still capable of working part time, as I'm semi-retired and performing as a lead guitarist and vocalist with my band. He is a world-renowned physician that remains "Old School" in his bedside manner, which I find to be refreshing. Thank you for your service and expertise, Dr. Shah. Dr Shah's intervention in my health care probably saved my life. I am very grateful for his experience in cardio care and his desire to find out what the problem is and how to correct it. His calm and steadfast approach is very much appreciated when one is confronted with a heart issue.
Very unhelpful! I was made too feel incompetent , he walked out when he was finished with me . I didn’t realize as I sat there waiting for him to come back in to explain my next steps. He’s secretary had to come in to tell me I was done.
Senile old man who mocks his patients after they leave
He sees one of my elderly neighbors and should be reported! He is racist and openly discloses it and told my neighbor he wouldn't treat her if she didn't get vaccinated. He needs to be reported to the board. Horrible doctor and shouldn't be treating his patients this way. Don't see this doctor!
This was the most thorough doctor visit I have ever had. He conducted the EKG and Sonography himself and spent 90 minutes with me. His thoroughness probably saved me from a heart attack. I may literally owe my life to his expertise and diagnosis. Thank you doctor Shah!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
