He doesnt listen to what you have to say he is very arrogant self centered missed diagnosed a treatment as I had to see another Dr to get proper treatment . Hes all about the money in his pocket

Dr. Getzels was our doctor for at least 10 years. He suddenly drops us. His staff said something about my wife which was untrue. He sent us letters saying he would not be our doctor anymore. He believed his so called staff and did not even bother to hear our side at all. This has hurt my wife since she takes a medcine to help her sleep. Seems Dr Getzel must have spread the word around based on untrue facts because no iNTERCOASTAL DOCTOR will take her.

Been with dr. getzels over 10 years. I feel heard by him and he is always available or Tori will call with his response. Recommend him to anyone who asks.

Fires patients for clarifying their name to receptionist. Have heard many similar stories he fires patients for questioning him or requesting a second opinion. Stay away from him.

Avoid the whole Intercoastal Medical Group but especially this DO who has become very arrogant. Nobody needs this treatment from a doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Getzels for a few years and I am very pleased with the personal care and attention he gives me. Recently I have developed a condition which Dr. Getzels discovered and has been treating me. He has personally called to make sure the Medication was working and that I was not having a reaction. He is very caring about his patients and their health. He is an excellent Physician and one that I would highly recommend.

Dr. Getzels is always very friendly takes his time addresses all my concerns and explains everyhing in detail. I trust his opinions and decisons 100% and am greateful to have him as my PCP. Not only he cares deeply about my health he also cares about keeping my healthcare costs down. I could not be happier with him

I would not recommend Dr. Getzels to anyone. He spends very little time with you and does not really care about what your concerns are. He talks at you and then leaves the room. He feels like he knows everything and you know nothing. He wants you to just schedule appointments over and over to make money for himself. I feel he needs to revisit the oath he took as a physician do no harm. He seems to be driven be greed not by taking care of the patient. Would never go back.
