Sadly, I have to give the office staff of Dr. Fine a zero. They didn't mess things up once or twice, but three times starting with an MRI, second time with who I was going to see and third time canceling the appointment with the wrong person. The supervisor of scheduling did not return my phone call. In addition, no one answers the phone's. Had my neck basically replaced and never was offered physical therapy after my surgery...felt that the Dr had my best interest until after surgery then they forgot about me

This is a mixed review my original surgery, consultation and procedures with Andrew fine in 2018 I would give a five star I went in with sciatica pain and he healed me I am now back with reoccurring sciatica pain, sometimes severe here’s where the one star review comes in had to call five times to even get an appointment can’t see Dr. fine have to be put off to somebody else which is understandable made an appointment on the phone at 11 AM Was told to show up at 10:30 which I did filled out paperwork for 15 minutes to have the office lady tell me that my appointment has been canceled because I wasn’t there at 10:15. She said my original appointment was set for 10:15 that is a lie. She said I will try to see if Brett can see you. He refused to see me very unprofessional, of this doctor. The front office lady said I would have to call back in for an appointment I said are you kidding me it took me all this time to get an appointment waited almost 30 days for and I’m here at your office and you can’t reschedule me then some other lady came in and got me an appointment for Monday at 2:45. I will say the office staff were friendly and professional. I know some of the reviews on here say otherwise, but they were following the instructions of Brett M Griffin, very unprofessional doctor. when I asked for Dr. fines email they said he doesn’t have one. I hope Dr. fine reads reviews of his own practice. I have recommended many people to him that will stop The point I’m trying to make here was a 15 minute difference in me arriving versus what they said my original appointment was all the paperwork they make you fill out takes 15 to 20 minutes the waiting room was not packed Brett does not take into consideration of his patients pain and the time they have to takeoff work to come to their facility. Bad decision on Brett’s I hope Dr. fine finds other doctors to represent his practice when he is not in the building

I have been going to Dr fine for many years. I have worked in the medical field as a firefighter/paramedic for nearly 25 years and have seen multiple neurosurgeons for my condition. In my opinion, Dr. fine is one the best I have ever known. You need not take my word for it. Ask anyone who works at SMH or Doctor’s hospital. He is the one the staff turns to when they need neurosurgery. Admittedly the office is busy, as is Dr. Fine, but this is not uncommon in any of the top neurosurgical practices. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of neurosurgeons, which is only worsening. It can take up to 18 years to become a neurosurgeon, and with the increase in population, age, and even medical subspecialties, one can understand how this is happening. Like most medical practices, it is a basic supply and demand scenario. The doctor must balance the number of patients they treat or limit it by speaking more with them. This is why they all use medical students, PAs (Physician Assistants), RNs, Med Techs, etc. I can attest that Dr. Fine will spend as much time as needed. He is not only a great surgeon but a very compassionate man. He performed emergency surgery on my wife when she suddenly experienced pain and lost feeling in her arm. She is now symptom-free and has been for over 5 years. He explained the procedure and recovery in detail and answered all our questions. Before surgery, he stopped by to check on her. She was understandably nervous, and he spent time reassuring her. He again addressed our questions and concerns. After surgery, he spoke with me and explained his findings and what he did to mitigate them. By the way, he also refused to perform surgery on me when other doctors wanted to. That was 15 years ago. My experiences may differ from yours. As a retired paramedic, I would say that medicine combines science with art, and nothing is ever written in stone. I would also suggest that it is basic human nature for people to post bad reviews more often than they post positive ones.

Wonderful. I recommend him highly. Also Brett is very knowledgeable and compassionate.
