He was great!!!!

I recommend him to all my friends. Dr. Farahvar performed surgery on my lumbar and cervical. I'm pain free for the first time in 42 years. I recommended him to a friend and she is pain free now also since her surgery.

I am so thankful I found Dr. Farvhar. It’s been a very long journey for me fighting Chiari Malformation and Intercrainal Hypertension. He literally saved my life. I was at my end of this rope. He placed a VP shunt inside my head to regulate the csf flow. He thought it through and we waited months after multiple tests to make sure this is what I was ready to do. He’s not one to just cut into you because he’s a surgeon. He honestly looks at the big picture. Not to mention he is a artist in his work. My scars are so small and clean and he only shaved a part of my hair, not the whole head. I’m sure I would be okay with it if he needed to but he did his job and helped me keep my confidence. I woke up from my shunt surgery feeling better than I had in years. It was a gradual process to get my episodes/seizers to slow down. He has a kind bed side manner and educates you on what is happening and why. He took his time turning my pressure down and showed me how much he cared for me. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to him and to his staff, especially Jizzel. This surgeon is the real deal, folks. He’s worth every dime. I am still having some issues which I feel is slit ventricals and I’m sure he will address it and do all he can to fix it. This illness is a roller coaster for sure. Thank you Dr F for giving me some life back. I am forever grateful to you for your expertise and kind soul.

Dr Farahvar was very well informed about my Tarlov cyst condition, which is unusual, as it is a rare condition. I was impressed by his knowledge. He also had no issues going through my MRIs with me on his computer showing me issues that were not mentioned in the MRI reports. he was very respectful, friendly and genuinely interested.

My first experience was great. So I set up an appointment for my wife we sat there for 1 1/2 hours and never seen Dr Farahvar.very disappointed. I have been trying to get an ejection for over three weeks and the staff still has not sent my insurance any information to get it approved. Very disappointed with the staff. I am still in a lot of pain. Would of gave a five star rating but the staff needs more training on how to get patient insurance approval.

Dr. Farahvar is one of the most competent, and understanding doctors I have ever met. Not only is his knowledge above the rest, but his ability to speak with his patients are what separates him from other surgeons. I was referred to Dr. Farahvar and ended up needing surgery on my neck. While my road to recovery is still underway, I’m absolutely grateful to have him on my team. Thank you to both you and Jizel.And let me also say, their front desk staff is absolutely top notch. Thank you all.

Best surgeon ever . I was in a vehicle accident it gave me syringomyelia also hurt both hands I had both surgeries on my hands later he diagnosed me with rsd I can't thank him enough for helping me with my hands even though they are still hurt even after the surgery. He was so very caring . I'm so sad that he left carle in Illinois his replacement is not that very nice and I haven't gone back do to his unfriendliness dr farravag is probably the best doctor I've ever met . He's friendly caring and talks with you making sure you concerns are discussed .

The best back surgeon I've been to. He takes the time to know the patient and explains everything well. Very personable.
