Dr. Gabriel is the best primary Dr. in Sarasota., and the best Dr. I have ever had. She will be sorely missed.

Dr. Gabriel is awesome. She is now retired! We miss her.

I’ve been going to Dr. Gabriel for many years. She is, by far, the best doctor I’ve ever seen. She is down to earth, takes her time to deal with any concern I have, she is spot on with any diagnosis she makes, and is very thorough and caring. Her shoes cannot be filled.

Dr. Gabriel is by far the best doctor I’ve ever had. My daughter, sister-in-law and my niece all go to her and we absolutely love her. She is an excellent doctor, takes her time with you, always diagnoses everything properly and also, she is a very kind hearted woman ??

Aside from consistently making my 92 year-old mom wait two to three hours every visit, she showed extreme negligence in failing to refill my mom's prescription and left us in an emergency situation. My mom called twice the week before the 4th of July weekend and was told both times the request was being forwarded (these requests were later confirmed by the receptionist). But in repeated calls to the pharmacy she was told the prescription was not renewed. The weekend came and my mom was experiencing panic attacks, but I was told by the on call doctor that only Dr. Gabriel could refill her med since it was a narcotic. Finally on the second day of calling we found an understanding doctor on call who provided a limited prescription. Never did hear from Dr. Gabriel. And subsequent attempts to find out what happened and why my mom was left in such a desperate state without her meds have not been answered. (Called three times.) Very negligent if not malpractice.

My wife, Heidi, had an appointment with Dr Gabriel at Intercoastal Med group on Cattleman rd in Sarasota for today (2/3) at 3:00PM. She called me at 6:00pm stating that Gabriel had NOT SEEN HER YET!!! To make matters worse, when my wife left the "exam" room to see what was happening---she found the office was CLOSED. ARE YOU F*KG KIDDING ME??? This is the most unprofessional, disrespectful experience I've ever heard of in my life. Just who does Gabriel think she is??? My wife came home---totally distraught. Actually, I've been going to Intercoastal for over three years--but MY primary physician is Dr Charles Hollen who is FANTASTIC. He and his P.A. are professional, courteous and respectful. I don't know how Gabriel got the "reviews" she received on this page--maybe they're all relatives. Being a Christian, I can't really say how I feel about her right now---but, it's certain , my wife WON'T BE BACK AGAIN !!! Doug T Sarasota, FL

This page did not accept my first attempt at a review of Dr Gabriel...But I don't give up. My wife had a appt with her today at 3PM...my wife called me at 6PM saying she had not SEEN Dr Gabriel yet!!!! And when my wife checked to see what was going on...the office was CLOSED!!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL !! I don't understand how Gabriel received some of the reviews she did on this page---perhaps they're all RELATIVES. My husband goes to Dr. Gabriel and I love sitting in on his appointments because she will give you all the time you need, no hurry, and truly listens. She strives to help you know your body and imparts much wisdom. Must admit there can be a long wait because of the time she spends with you.

If you can wait, she is the best physician and she will give you excellent care and attention. Bring a book and some water.

I have been going to Dr Gabriel for many years. She ALWAYS takes the time to address all of my questions & concerns. I have also found her to be a spot-on diagnostician. She is everything I want in an internist.
