Dr Derby is a perfectionist & goes above & beyond. I did a lot of research & ultimately interviewed 2 surgeons. Hands down Dr Derby was the person to go with. He is very personable, listens to you, easily accessible when you need him. I can not say enough about my experience beyond if you are considering plastic surgery he is an exceptional choice.

The experience I had with Dr Derby and his staff was beyond my expectations. I never left without all of my questions answered and feeling 100% confident in my decisions. The professionalism and expertise of Dr. Derby was greatly appreciated but the feeling that you are his #1 priority was impressive. I truly couldn't be happier.

I have had a double chin my whole life, it runs in my family. I finally decided to do something about it and am so pleased to have gone to Dr Derby and his team at Sarasota Plastic Surgery. They were very transparent on all options that were available and which option would provide the optimal result. I did not feel like i was being upsold. I also did not feel like a number. Choosing to go through with elective surgery was because of Dr. Derby's attention to detail and time.  He impressed me from the first consult. Consult/Pre-Op Appointments When I went in for my consult he and his team spent over two hours with my husband and me answering our questions and helping me make important sizing decisions. Dr. Derby is knowledgeable and caters the information to your level of anatomical knowledge, including diagrams for clarity. Every question I had was answered in a manner which helped me to know he cares more about the patient than the bottom line. I was truly debating the differences between saline and silicone and didn't choose during my consult. Dr. Derby, my husband, and I had a follow-up conversation about the research on both before ultimately choosing saline during my pre-op appointment. Such a wonderful experience with Dr Derby! It’s been years that I thought of doing my upper eyelid surgery and EXTREMELY HAPPY to have chosen Dr Derby to help me with this issue. My whole experience with Dr. Derby and the staff at Sarasota Plastic Surgery Ctr has been amazing. Dr. Derby is very caring about his patients and he has an amazing eye and knows exactly where to focus his expert attention. The nursing staff and the office staff are also fantastic. Dr. Derby is a wonderful doctor! I am truly thrilled that I chose him for my surgery. Not enough room to fully explain how wonderful Dr. Derby and his staff are. Breast lift and fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty procedures. In short, 6 months out, my results have wildly exceeded anything I could have imagined. I am 58 years old, but my mind and body are 22 again. Dr. Derby is truly and artist. No other word will suffice. These procedures have changed my life, and my self-esteem. I like the way I look again and don’t hide behind my clothing. I have thanked Dr. Derby often for helping me complete my journey, and for just being the wonderful person and extremely talented surgeon that he is.
