Dr. I Milam was very busy and I waited 45 minutes past my appointment to be called into the exam room.

Dr. Milam and her staff are superlative in every way but one. The wait time (in the exam room) is always 45 minutes or longer before seeing the Dr. This Appt was exceptionally short and I waited 40 minutes alone in the exam room; but that is still too long. The Dr. has been my dermatologist for nearly 30 years and I can’t say enough good things about her meticulous attention to pre-screening procedures and follow up when abnormal spots are identified. However, I do wish my time was more of a consideration. The same number of patients could be seen if “we waited less time”…. and this is always the practice. Dr. Milam is worth it, but it is a cost of my time that I simply wish I didn’t have to always spend.

Dr. Milam is a wonderful doctor. Very thorough and provides great explanations about how to best take care of my skin and any anomalies that present themselves. I’ve been her patient for over 15 years and will continue to be!
