Coast Dental's Online Review Report Card

I had to pay just to get in for an emergency appointment. Then I go in, they have a quick check and say everything was fine and I wouldn't need any work. I asked at reception if I owe anything, they say nope you're good to go. Fast forward one year later and all of a sudden I'm being harassed that I have an overdue charge (that's been quietly accruing interest, by the way). Scam of a dentist practice, I would recommend you go anywhere else.

I give it one star because this office lacks administrative transparency. On December 26, 2023, I received an invoice that said I owed money for a cleaning my daughter had done in January 2023. The problem is that they give you an estimate and assure you something that is not real, and then they send you "Surprise bills " almost a year later. I will pay the bill because there is no point arguing about something that happened so long ago, but I will never return. At least five co-workers have had this same problem and said they would NEVER return!

It took me so long to get myself back to a dentist after having a really bad experience. Dr. Greenwald was incredibly respectful and explained everything and my recent experience with him and his team was completely painless and actually enjoyable, thanks to all the friendly staff! I’m so happy to have found a good dentist!

I'm a 73 year old retired international educator, and I must say that I had the best experience ever at Coastal Dental compared to numerous other dental facilities I've attended both here in the USA and in Italy where I taught for half of my career. The staff was sincerely pleasant. The dental technician who took extensive X-rays of my teeth and the dental hygenist who thoroughly examined my teeth and then who performed a most thorough cleaning of my teeth which included a special treatment for a specific problem involving my gums were both top notch. After these initial proceedings were completed, the dentist, a most cordial and kind gentleman, came in to the room and took his time to explain my rather extensive & complex treatment plan in a manner that was easy for me to understand, a skill that very few dentists are capable of doing.

I had an excellent experience. Dr. and staff were extremely knowledgeable and caring in their work.

Everyone at this practice was kind and professional, working to give me the best experience after I have had poor dental care at another practice in Sarasota.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had in a dentist office. The staff was extremely friendly and the dentist was very professional and helpful navigating through my insurance and how to best use it to our advantage. Will definitely be going back so I have one of those pearly white teeth they have on their walls!!! Thanks again for being down to earth and made me feel like I was part of the family!! Bill Insinga
