Dental Care Alliance's Online Review Report Card

After having paid IN FULL at the Jupiter, Florida location, the dentist left the practice and the company closed the office. No refunds NO PRIOR WARNING We found out the day before the office closed at my son’s appointment. Now, months later I still can’t get copies of his records for another dentist to work on him. Attempts to speak with someone at “corporate” have failed and the other practices are JUST as frustrated and annoyed as the former patient parents.

After a truly horrifying and humiliating experience at Advanced Dental Care of Citrus Park in Tampa, Florida, I tried reaching out many times to the parent company Dental Care Alliance in Sarasota. Their ultimate response was to ignore me. Here's what happened: I went to my appointment at Advanced Dental Care expecting the regular cleaning set up by the dentist in my previous visit. But instead of the regular cleaning prescribed by Dr. Guerrero, I was told by a young dental assistant that I must get a maintenance cleaning—a more expensive procedure not covered by my insurance. When I objected to this based on my signed treatment plan indicating a regular cleaning at no charge, suddenly things fell apart. The dental assistant shouted loudly enough for everyone in the office to hear. When I then tried to explain to the office manager, she ordered me out of the office and threatened to call police. In fact, she told the dental assistant to dial 911 as I left the office. I emailed the Dental Care Alliance corporate office. This again is the parent company of Advanced Dental Care. I got a superficial response from a representative named Jen S., telling me that I would be contacted by someone on the "leadership team" within three days. When no one contacted me in a week, I sent follow up emails. But I never again heard back from anyone at Dental Care Alliance. Dental patients please listen: Don't let yourselves be bullied by greedy, unethical dental chains. These companies often try to force patients into expensive and unnecessary procedures not covered by insurance, simply because it boosts their profits. There are state and federal laws protecting you from such abuse—use them. Stand up for your rights. Do your research. Post reviews on all available review websites. Share your experience on social media. File complaints with all relevant consumer protection and regulatory agencies. Take legal action if needed. If you want guidance, reach out to Elliott Advocacy (elliott.org)--they'll help you take a stand. Businesses like Advanced Dental Care, and parent company Dental Care Alliance must learn: If they keep up their shady ways they'll end up out of business.

No communication between themselves, this company is all about NUMBERS! The employees in the different departments aren’t thoroughly trained, phone calls not answered AI answers to me all the unprofessionalism comes from the higher ups; it’s disheartening that some companies of today have no regards for human decency.

I recently was a patient at the Jefferson Valley, NY office. with Family Dental, with a Dr. Choudhary. Recommended by a granddaughter. I had 3 broken teeth. This dentist does not interact with her patients. I felt like a piece of glass, she only spoke with his assistant. Not a good feeling. She preceded to make impressions of top and bottom gums. She recommended that I have the top teeth removed and then told me they do not do extractions. She then told me to go to Westchester Medical Dental in Vallaha NY. Long drawn out waiting to an appointment only to hear I would have to get a sign off with my Primary and Cardio doctors. that took some time. Then back I go to Westchester Medical to hear they would only take the three broken teeth out but just one at a time. This was to make sure the gum healed correctly. 4 week later back and had the other 2 teeth out. In the middle of this I had to go to a specialist for Root canals, which I did. Finally I was to get the permanent crowns. The first one fit perfectly but the second one I had to go back 2 more times. It fit if I did not eat anything otherwise it just came out.. In the interim of getting my crowns she has her assistant tell me she will not make the upper bridge for me. No explanation. Third crown visit I got to ask her directly why???? Her answer was it won't work. ?? My answer was I will find a dentist that can. I went back to my old dentist and he said no problem. No happy with her. Her assistant Brittany, I would give a 10 to very polite. Front desk, Wendy, I would give a 10 to, very informative, polite. Please make sure these girls get the proper recognition they deserve. Make Ya Smile in Sugarland is the most unprofessional dental office I have ever seen. The front desk receptionist name Jalisha was so rude. Very aggressive. Had no empathy or compassion for customer service! Did not know how to communicate or listen to my concerns For my recent treatment and my payment. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone!

My girlfriend was wrongly terminated from a job that she put her all into. Unfortunately this company does not care about its hard working employees enough to support them through a natural disasters after math and would rather wash there hands clean and lay them off leaving them with out a job for no legitimate reason in a time of need like right now. I would stay very far away from this business and it’s shady corporate practices. She was not even offered a severance like most companies do for an employees that have worked full time with them.

The worst.

Free means you pay nothing, which is not the case with this con job company, read the small print and you will see that it's bait and switch.

Before my dental surgery I was told I needed payment in full before my dental benefits were filed and once my insurance paid I’m due a refund of over $1600.00 and waiting 2 months but still getting the run around and can’t reach anyone. The office I went to says “once it goes to corporate it’s out of our hands”. I will not use another dental provider that is part of this group.
