Im not going there. All the woman hate her.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and MONEYGO ELSEWHERE... RUNYour patience and your time will be tested and wasted with this doctor and her staff. I waited over one month for an appointment with this doctor only to be turned away because my insurance switched from UNited to Cigna and she assumed I didn’t have the money to pay for my visit when I already said I would pay out of pocket and deal with the insurance company afterwards... yep... I wonder what the genius was behind this decision...her assumption today could be construed as discrimination. What a waste of my time.
Will not go back. Could be heard yelling at her staff from behind closed door. Rough handling no bedside manner and rushed appointment. Seeking a different dermatologist.
My experiences with Dr. Long have always been good. I have seen her several times and she is always very pleasant. Her treatments are very effective.
Dr. Long has always taken very good care of me. If I have a skin problem I will go right back. People should understand she is very busy because she is well trained.
Dr. Long failed to clean the area that was frozen and failed to give me any additional information about post care. She did say if it was still there in six weeks to return for a biopsy Now four weeks later I am on my second round of antibiotics with prescription ointment to try to get rid of the infection. Today a wound care doctor removed the dead tissue from the spot and I have to go back in two weeks for a follow up. So I will have had four office visits visits with other physicians due to Dr Long. I would not recommend Dr. Long at all...she rushes and doesn’t hesitate to quote her prices to freeze things off tha the patient has to pay for because she says the insurance won’t pay. I have had seen many doctors at Intercoastal Medical and all are kind and patient except Dr. Long.
We just relocated to the area and I saw Dr. Long for a full exam as I have a history of basal cell skin cancer. This was my first appointment with her. I arrived early and they had me come into an exam room early. The nurse was very professional and prepped me for the exam. Dr. Long came into the room and during our discussion she interrupted and seemed in a hurry. Her exam was quick and not comprehensive. She had me seated and scanned my arms back and legs from knees down. I have had full body exams where the doctor has a nurse taking notes on what they see. There was no notation or inspection on Dr. Longs part at all. I also needed prescriptions filled for past acne issues. After I left the office she went into my mail order system to input the scripts and her nurse followed up that my plan would not cover these medicines so I should use Good RX. When I checked my plan I found that the medicines are covered and for much less than with Good RX. This just shows that she is quick to look and not to inspect. I will be looking for another dermatologist. I have to give her at least one star otherwise this will not post.
I attempted to schedule an appointment with this doctor whom I have seen on multiple occasions as well as my son but because I had not seen her in the past two years I was told I would have to wait for two months to see her. I was diagnosed with contact dermatitis by Teledoc since I was unable to see Dr. Long. After finishing the meds from the Teledoc I tried to call Dr. Longs office again for an appointment. I waited for 30 minutes on the phone to get an appointment and decided to try online. I requested an appointment via their website and waited a week and still did not hear back from anyone. I phoned the doctors office again to be told that Dr. Long would not be able to see me. There was a complete disconnect from the front desk and the nurse which told me that someone wasnt being truthful. I have been a patient of the Intercoastal Group for years and this is the first time I have ever experienced such a lack of care and concern for a patient. I would not consider going to this doctor or their dermatology office. I could not even get an appointment with any of their other doctors because they wont switch. Ironic since I was not able to see Dr. Long.
Very little time spend with patient . Can get her to submit a different prescription as the one prescribed it’s unaffordable
Very good. Professional. Spent time checking carefully. Would recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
