My experience was excellent.

Not a great experience. They were running late. I was told I was supposed to be the second patient, but there was a change and I was pushed back. It took three stabs to get my IV started. When I woke up after the procedure, they were in such a hurry to get me out that I was not offered any water (over 12 hours since my last liquid) and they pushed me to the car still so dizzy I couldn't walk alone. There was more. One of these things could be "It happens." All of them together display less than premium patient care.

Bayview Surgery center billing department takes it upon themselves to pick and choose codes to maximize charges to all concerned that end up being passed on to the patient. No transparency, honesty and ethics in this facility. We are still fighting unallowable charges after 6 months following the procedure, and we will not stop until they admit to error (deliberate or not) on their coding department.

The best experience I could have imagined for having an endoscopy. Why they have 3 stars is beyond me. It was such a great experience.

After a mistake by Dr Mitchell"s office I spoke to Miki at Bayview about a refund of the co-pay I had paid. She was very helpful and got the refund processed in less than a week.

Billing department for the facility is COMPLETELY inept. This is scary as it is clear they do not know what they are doing. If you don’t want to spend months straightening out improper and inaccurate billing, please go elsewhere. It’s actually sad, because Dr. Byju is a good doctor but this headache is NOT worth it.
