Excellent, compassionate, professional care! Dr. Heinrich and her staff go out of their way to ensure that every step of the treatment process goes smoothly. They went above and beyond to work with my insurance company (which was quite a challenge) and to make sure that each and every treatment was as pleasant as cancer treatments can possibly be. They have turned what could have been a devastating time into weekly treatments filled with compassion, humor and the best of humanity. Not to disparage anyone but I was present during the incident which reviewer Lindsay Pablo referred to and for the record the doctor was patient and professional with a very challenging client. Sometimes we all need to firmly set boundaries when they are being pushed beyond reason. Enough said. Dr. Heinrich and everyone at Sarasota Cancer Institute provide the very best care and I highly recommend them if you or a loved one needs treatment. I have several weeks remaining and actually look forward to each of them (not the treatment of course, just seeing the people!).

My father was recently diagnosed with cancer and he went to his first chemo treatment at Dr Heinrich's office last week. While the staff was wonderful and kind, the doctor was not. My dad doesn't know what he did to upset her, as she berated him in front of other patients and staff for asking how much longer he'd be there and for squeezing their stress balls. Apparently they are "the property of the office and not to be touched". My dad was scared and nervous and did not deserve to be treated this way. I would expect someone working in the cancer field, to be compassionate and patient but this was not the case with Dr Heinrich. He tried to smooth things over with her so they could start off on the right foot but she said she was too busy to see him and then later fired him from her practice. I hope for the sake of her other patients, she learns a better bedside manner and could try to treat each of them, as if they were her own mother or father. Shame on her.

I was not sure if I would find as good of a doctor as I had in Massachusetts , to continue my ongoing needs . I feel I will be very pleased with this new doctor I have taking over where the others left off !!!
