Dr. Aristimuno is the Best, I recommend to everybody
2nd visit with Dr A. , follow up after 16 days in hospital with severe Covid-19. Dr spent a lot of time with me and was genuinely concerned. Whole staff was great.
This email is regarding Miss Melissa Van Dyke. I am one of many advocates for for her health well-being care and rights. Mark McKinley the manager has chose to discriminate and treat her very unfairly and by leaving her outside for over five and a half hours as well as her 88 legal working service dog has caused and created her trauma sickness and unnecessary stress. Not only is Miss Melissa Benedict disabled but she is on long-term care and lives in a facility and Mark McKinley made the decision to treat her unfairly and to kick her out of your practice and your facility because home health aide shows to steal from her and the facility. There is plenty of proof legal documents a police report ,a DCF report, documents from spark as well as the state's attorney and many more agencies and advocates. So we are a little confused why she was kicked out of your facility by Mark McKinley as well as refused to see her as the patient and refused urgent medical care medical Care as well as her medications refilled. Miss Van Dyke's facility is a drug-free facility. She has over 5 years of drug tests that she has all passed as well as all of her medicine counts have been correct and there is plenty of proof and legal documents about what happened and her home health aide is now in jail where she belongs. Why Miss Van Dyke is not allowed to have her diabetes medicine her heart medicine her cholesterol medicine her for ADHD medicine her anxiety medicine her inhalers her bipolar medicine and many other medicines as well as kicked out of the practice and made to sit in a hot sun for over 5 hours and to be taken by ambulance is so unprofessional appalling and disgusting as well as illegal and discriminated against and because she is in long-term care and disabled it actually Is much more than discrimination and discriminated against. Her insurance many advocates her new home health aide the 88 and many more agencies have reached out to Mark McKinley and he has not called one person back and has not tried to resolve this issue. I am asking that Miss Melissa Van Dyke immediately be seen Monday morning and her advocates as well as home health aide will be there with plenty of legal documents paperwork improve proven that she did not break any contract or cause any scene and only was trying to be heard and only trying to please with Mark McKinley and the new PA to look at her paperwork to be treated fairly and to look at her paperwork in legal documents however they chose not to they chose to discriminate against they chose to judge prejudge and assume and make incorrect judgments. Ms Van Dyke is an outstanding citizen she's giving back to not only her country but her community and her state. If you look up Melissa Van Dyke and save freedom it is clear that she has sacrificed her life to give back to her community and her see in her country and has rescued and helps many women in human and sex trafficking but do to her career in a car accident unfortunately she is not able to work she is now disabled she is also on long-term care and in assisted living facility and considered 65 and older and she brought the paperwork hospital paperwork doctors paperwork police report DCF paperwork state's Attorney paperwork and documents spark documents and paperwork a CD of all of her medical paperwork and hospitalizations and much more to prove her innocence so she can be treated fairly however was kicked out of your facility by Mark McKinley and made to sit in the hot sun for over 5 and 1/2 hours when recently just getting out of the cardiac unit as well as her legal Ada service dog just getting a procedure done. To make a long story short because Mark McKinley sent her ride from her insurance several times times awayand called her a liar, refused urgent medical care when a Lyft driver drove off with her attached to the car and still has injuries to be looked at aand treatedwas left outside to suffer for over 5 hours and was taken by ambulance both her and he
I saw Dr. Aristimuno in 2018 after a severe motor vehicle accident where I herniated almost all my discs in my spine. He saw me crying in the ask me if I was faking it. I didn't see him for 2 years because of that. I told him about my leg wounds on my right leg that had been there for 3 months with 2 courses of antibiotics and still infected is still a big, painful purple lesion that is deeply infected. I told him I thought it was a venous stasis ulcer, as I had a phlebectomy in the right leg just a few months prior. The veins were taken out so there was little circulation. He yelled at me and screamed you worry about your circulation and stop smoking. I told them I was worried about my abdomen that was very bloated which is called ascites and is usually due to some form of cancer or liver disease. He screamed at me in a maniacal tone, you have a fat stomach your chunky you have a chunky fat stomach your fat. I was mortified in just went home crying in the parking lot. I didn't know what to say. By the way I am not fat about women size 6. He also yelled at me that he couldn't help me with all my problems couldn't help me at all and he referred me to other doctors and that was the end of my visit I will never ever go to him again as a primary care doctor he is so rude, not compassionate, or the least bit empatheticand totally unprofessional. I am a Registered Nurse 27 years.
Dr Aristimuno and his staff are one of the best I have been associated with. Regardless if I see the PA or Dr Aristimuno I receive the best of care. They listen, and are companionate and responsive. Dee in the back office is the greatest in working my referrals and truly take the worry out of getting my referrals quickly and on time. Nothing falls through the cracks!
One of the best and most experienced primary care physicians in Sarasota, this doctor has dedicated his life to diagnosing and treating most of the common illnesses and ailments that patients can suffer. He also has a great team that surrounds him to provide patient care. I highly recommend him.
Worst physician I ever encountered in my life! The first time I saw him was s/p severe MVA and I had herniated almost every disc in my spine. I was crying in pain and when he entered the room he asked me if I was faking it! The second time I saw him, I had had ascites, which is accumulation of fluid in your peritoneal space maybe due to cancer. He started yelling at me, "you have a fat stomach, a chunky fat stomach," and repeated it over and over at me. I am not fat, but a woman's size 6. I also was telling him about an infected ulcer on my right lower leg that was there for 3 months despite 2 courses of antibiotics. I told him that I had had a phlebectomy in that leg, so I did not have much circulation. Again in an angry tone, he yelled at me, "if you are worried about your circulation then stop smoking!" I left the office crying!

This doctor is an outstanding physician who has provided care to the Sarasota community for almost 25 years. He is surrounded with an excellent staff and I would highly recommend him. He has the experience and bedside manner to take good care of you and your family.
The worst experience that I have had since recently moving to Sarasota. The office staff is rude and does not return your phone calls. When I mentioned this to the doctor he said to me that do you know how many calls we get a day ! I could not believe that was his answer !! I would never go back there, find another doctor. His place is just for emergency walk-in, not for a PCD. Stay Away !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
