List of Joe T. Kelley's Reviews
I received a referral to see Dr Kelly from my PCP. I have just moved to Florida from California. I have been under the care of a Rheumatologist for the last 30 years for Psoriatic arthritis and a history of SLE. I was told by my PCP that once the doctor received the referral and notes from the my visit Dr Kelly’s office would call for an appointment. I waited and waited and no call. I called the office after about 10 days of waiting and the woman who answered the phone was well icey. She said the doctor needs to review the records to decide if he wants to accept you as a patient and they didn’t have my referralrecords. I called the referral dept and they sent them again. I called back 15 minutes later and the same lady said we FOUND your recordsreferral and the doctor does not feel he has anything more to contribute to your medical care Unbelievable I would not want anything to do with this doctor or his staff.
I could not recommend this doctor to anyone
My Mother was in ICU and on a ventilator after a reaction to a COVID vaccine and I was waiting for my appointment with Dr Kelley and received an urgent call from the hospital and told the nurse I had to take the call and why. Dr Kelley told me I used my allotted time for my appointment on the call. I find him inconsiderate lacking empathy and if it were his parent I wonder how he would feel being treated so dismissively. I fired him and today received a letter certified to find another doctor. Gladly

Caring helpful doctor with lots of knowledge about RA
Dr. Kelley is amazing. I went from feet so swollen and painful that I could hardly walk when I first met him to my oldself and being able to walk on the treadmill four miles a day. He is the most compassionate and understanding doctor that I have ever had as well. Terrific results and bed side manner. He is the best
I had been a long time patient of Dr Kelley giving this practice plenty of business since January 2014. Dr Kelley works at Intercoastal Medical Group. This practice is the ABSOLUTE WORST when it comes to billing. They not only try to squeeze as much money out of you as they can their billing and office staff are untruthful and uncooperative and refuse to listen to their patients. They insisted that I pay almost $250 for an injection which they probably make a handsome markup on then wanted to charge me an additional $50 for a PA to give me the shot I wasnt even going to be seen by a nurse or doctor but they insisted they had to collect my $50 Doctors Office Copay anyway. So I called my insurance company and was told that I am not to be charged a $50 Copay just for getting an injection in addition to the cost of the injection. I told this to their billing and office staff who argued with me relentlessly. They refused to let me self administer the injection or have any other provider administer it because they wanted to suck an additional $50 out of this visit I finally called the head Office Manager there and after I gave him the Reference number for my call with my insurance company he said I didnt have to pay the $50 Copay but that they would still bill this to my insurance to get this $50 anyway. I ended up getting my injection then the following week I get a letter from Dr Kelley discharging me as a patient So after I clarified with their staff that they were trying to overcharge me I get discharged because they didnt like the truth. And I highly doubt the letter I received from Dr Kelley was even from him or even signed by him since I was told he was in Colorado for 2 more days beyond the date of letter. Then I requested my medical records from their office heck they arent the only gig in town and they had the nerve to try to charge me for them So I requested to come into their office to view my medical records as per HIPAA they cannot refuse my request to view my medical records and are not allowed to charge me to view my medical records but they didnt like this at all and finally sent me my medical records. So I open the envelope and find a vengeful letter sent to my Primary Care Physician stating I was discharged from their practice due to being verbally abusive to their staff Unbelievable WHAT A FLAT OUT LIE Just because I pointed out to their staff that they were overcharging me they turned this around as being verbally abusive This displayed TOTAL Incompetence and lack of professionalism. This practice has the worst group of office staff I have ever dealt with. Dr Kelley may be an OK Rheumatologist but believe me there are PLENTY of better qualified Rheumatologists to choose from. To be treated in this manner as a longtime PAYING patient is inexcusable. Im so glad to be done with them. GOOD RIDDENS
Total waste of my time. First time in ever I have ever heard of a rheumatologist who doesn’t treat fibromyalgia. Came from Miami and my rheumatologist treated me for osteopenia and the fibromyalgia. If you have fibromyalgia and no other autoimmune diseases do not waste your time like I did.
Dr. Kelley is one of the most kindest understanding doctor I’ve been lucky enough to have been referred too. He will listen to everything you tell him. He is very gentle when a shot is needed and really cares about you. He’s helped me so very much. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor to anyone with RA.Thank you Dr. KelleyEleni Balam
Both my husband and I have been a patient of Dr. Lelley for over 10 years. He is the most wonderful caring informative physician that we have seen and will continue to see.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
