My son saw Dr. Shank at Sarasota Memorial hospital in North Port in the ER. The doctor offered to give him a cat scan because he was in a car accident a few days prior. I told him that my sons neurologist said that he should not have a cat scan because of the radiation. He has tumors along his spine from NF type one and several other tumors over his body. We were told it may change his genetic makeup. The doctor informed me that he had heard that theory but was not sure he agreed with it. He refused to give him an MRI and prescribed him some nausea medicine. I am appealing the bill when I receive it.

Really enjoyed the comfort i received from this doctor. I had a pleasant experience for the amount of pain I was in, and received multiple medications that helped almost instantly. I also left with proper scripts and a diagnosis.
