Dr. Wittmann is a brilliant doctor who researches and does not stop until he is convinced your safety is priority ONE. I was in SMH for cervical spine surgery. I had what I thought was a minor allergy to sulfites. He noticed that on my history and asked all the right questions. Then he went to work with the pharmacist to ensure I did not received any medications with the preservative sulfite in it. He told me I could have had major issues during anesthesia if I received meds with sulfites in it. I am VERY GRATEFUL to this most exceptionally skilled and compassionate doctor. Thank you Dr. Wittmann.

Dr. Wittmann is always friendly caring and very intelligent and a gifted physician and well trained Anesthesiologist. Probably as a result of excellent postgraduate training at University of Colorado in Denver and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore he is compassionate about his profession. As an excellent team player he is liked by all his colleagues and he is known for getting things done even if this requires compromise. He is excellent in guiding the most difficult patients through extremely risky surgery particularly open hear operations�
