Excellent physician! I sought out Dr. Mathew for a second opinion on a previous electrophysiologist recommending that I have an ablation. I hadn't been in AFib for years and only had benign arrhythmias. I am in my early forties and was very concerned about having the procedure if it wasn't truly needed. Dr. Mathew listened to my concerns and had a wonderful suggestion to use Kardia instead of other monitors to monitor my rhythm. It's portable and you don't have to wear it. He was concerned about the getting data on my heart before doing a procedure on it. He really took the time to look at my readings that I had collected and came up with regimen to manage my arrhythmias.

Had severe AFIB and Dr. Mathew corrected this 100% and I feel great! I cannot express enough gratitude to this man who gave me my life back after a 5 hr procedure. He is amazing at what he does and his staff is wonderful. I am so fortunate to have been referred to him.

I waited over a month to get into this doctor, and the day before my appointment I received a call canceling it and that they couldn't get me in for another 4 weeks....I find this completely unacceptable. I know I am just another fly on the wall to a doctor, but when I am questioning whether I can survive each day I cannot help but be frustrated by how much doctors push their patients off. I hope to find a doctor who cares!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mathew since early 2013. Along with his outstanding education, experience and background, I find Dr. Mathew extremely compassionate and caring. He is easy to talk to, listens to everything I say and relates his thoughts in a manner that I can understand. I have complete faith and confidence in Dr. Mathew and have recommended him to many of my friends.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mathew since early 2013. Along with his outstanding education, background and experience, he is extremely compassionate and understanding. Dr Mathew is an outstanding Electrophysiologist. He successfully treated my AFIB with a cardiac ablation and I am now AFIB-free and no longer on blood thinners. He is knowledgeable, highly skilled and compassionate - a rare combination. His staff is wonderful. I highly recommend him.

Dr Mathew is extremely knowledgeable about heart arrhythmias. I definitely trust him with all aspects of afib. One of the only surgeons in the state who has performed thousands of catheter ablations.
