MIchael K Barron's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Barron is very nice and attentive, however; his nurse in the Sarasota office Kailey...is unprofessional rude and incompetent!!! My husband is a heart patient. Kailey never returns his phone calls...instead she calls me his emergency contact and leaves messages about my appointment. Dr. Barron is Not my doctor. My husband was actively having a stress test. Kailey called...I saw the number called her thinking it was urgent. She NEVER returned my call. Instead she asks my husband during his stress test if he tried to call her!!! Wtf!!? I saw the message she left on my voicemail for the 15th time or close to it about my upcoming appointment. It's been brought to her attention and the attention to the receptionist. That following Tues. hubby has his follow up hubby was told by Dr. Barron he would order him long lasting nitro. Everytime we go...we give them the VA fax number so my husband can get his scripts through the VA and nothing!!! They never called in his scripts. My husband called the office that Friday and they are closed. Monday we go in to find out what the hell is going on Kailey whispered to the receptionist to give her a fucking pad a and pen so she could write down information. She has an extremely BAD attitude for an office that was empty at the end of day at approx 3:30 on a Monday. Keep in mind my husband's heart is only functioning at about 19 percent and he is also a disabled Veteran who fought during the first Gulf War and deserves to be treated better than garbage. I'm not happy with Dr. Barron's staff the least bit

I have had Dr. Barron for my doctor for many years. He is the best of the best. So kind and takes the time and doesn't rush you out the door like so many other doctors do. He answers my questions every time and when I leave his office I feel so good. He is always there when you need him. Thank you Dr. Barron for your kindess towards your people that need your help.

Dr. Barron is the best cardiologist in Sarasota and not only is he my doctor but he took care of my husband who had double bypass and also took care of my Dad. He is awesome.

My husband and I both see Dr. Barron. As a Registered Nurse I am quite particular about the physicians we see. Dr. Barron is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, patient and caring. He explains everything at a level even my husband can understand. I have complete trust in him.

I was first put off by the fact they had no alcohol or wipes during a visit when we had COVID and then I experienced a rude type of admin and desk person who did not understand my frustration. I also felt Dr. Barron was impatient, and in a hurried mode when he talked to me. I found the office old and dated, with worn chairs, and did not feel this was appropriate in a medical office envirnoment. They also did not give me correct advice from my blood work and exaggerated the results. I know, because my sister is a Dr. and guided me about these results. I would not recommend this Dr. for cardiology.

Saw him for the first time today and was greatly impressed. He spent considerable time going over my cardiac history and reviewing it with me. The nurse was also wonderful taking my history and doing the BP tests and the cardiogram. Overall, one of the best physicians I have seen in my lifetime.

Even a patient for ten years. He is kind persistent and a great diagnostician. He has done well by me.

I am so happy that I found Dr. Barron several years ago. He is so kind, caring and really pays attention to you when you talk and try to explain things that are going on. He never rushes you and explains in detail and makes you feel relaxed and calm when you leave his office. It is hard to find doctors like him around. I have given his name out to many people who are looking for a heart doctor. My whole family go to him and wouldn't go to any other doctor. Thank you so much Dr. Barron for all you have done for me. I really appreciate your kindness and much more.

Very thorough. Unrushed, and listens to what you have to say. Cares about his patients. Office staff is very nice in addition to his nurse. Would highly recommend Dr Barron.

Dr. Barron has been my Cardiologist for many years. I recently arrived at Doctors Hospital with a heart attack. I am thankful to have this skilled Doctor and his team to take care of me.
