List of N. Matthew Koshy's Reviews
Will be contacting HCA Florida leadership regarding very inappropriate questions. Asking someone if they are single and berating them for their health condition is very inappropriate conduct unbecoming of a health care professional.
Excellent doctor. Great bedside manner. Really cares about patients. Mr. Patel, his tech is very knowledgeable and helpful
The good news about Dr. K is that when I had a self diagnosed surprise heart blockage issue, unlike my family cardiologist, he took me on, did an angiogram that resulted in a surprise quadruple bypass. The bad news is that he poisoned me with so much of the by the book drugs that I turned into a human blood hemorrhage. I'd rather die than deal with this style of braindead medicine. USA medicine is so bad that we really should change our views on suicide.
I went to see Dr. Koshy for severe hypertension and a related heart condition. I also suffer from a mental illness. Dr. Koshy did such a terrible job treating my hypertension, so that two physicians -not cardiologists- stepped in and prescribed medications he should've prescribed, and recommended treatment he should've recommended. In my last visit, when I mentioned the treatment recommended, he dismissed it and recommended an alternative. When I presented him with evidence that his alternative would be very dangerous for someone in my condition, he didn't address the issues, instead he launched into an angry tirade and insulted me using two derogatory terms for people suffering from mental illness. This was very very painful for me to hear. Needless to say, I left his office to never return. I would take the positive reviews with a grain of salt. My experience does not justify those. Also, be aware, he has no qualms using your own medical issues to humiliate you and put you down.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Koshy for a number of years. He takes time with his patients. His gentle manner and professionalism is appreciated
Dr Koshy is an incredible Doctor. great bedside manner and very easy to talk to. listens to all my concerns and works with me to create my plan of care..
Dr Koshy was beyond rude. He refused to look at my medical records " I don't have time to look at those. I only have so much time per patient" in his rude voice. Than he blurted out I need a catheterization. I said aren't there any imaging tests we can do first ? I know a CT scan can be done. Rudely " The catheterization will be the only way to know if you need a bypass." He wouldn't let me ask about the risks of a cath with having multiple blood clotting disorders and an IVC filter. He wouldn't let me ask what makes him think I need a bypass. A very blunt rude doctor. Who wouldn't discuss anything.
I love Dr Koshy. He knows his stuff. He is soft spoken but like I said he knows his stuff. I highly recommend him
I don't like how he talks down to women. He is soft spoken but I noticed subtle belittling comments a bit stern at times. Somewhat full of himself.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
