I had excellent swallow exercises thru Stephanie at Nuero Speech. I started their exercises requiring thickened water for all my liquid intake with the my intent to use the Nuero Speech swallow training to allow me to pass the hospital barium test. My exercises included Hard , Long&High and Double swallow test. I found if I listen to Stephanie, swallow hard and concentrate on using my Adam’s apple I got good results. I passed my first hospital barium test and have now been off thickened water for over 2 months. Definitely took some work and concentration and my part. The training definitely worked for me though.

My husband had a stroke in October 2024, and was subsequently diagnosed with Aphasia and Apraxia of Speech, which severely impacted his speech, writing, and spelling. In the beginning he could only say one word. After a week in the hospital, and a week in rehab, he began outpatient speech therapy, 4 days per week, with different speech therapists. One was Stephanie Lomazov of Neuro Speech Therapy in Sarasota. It didn't take long to notice that Stephanie, with her wide range of protocols, accomplished much more than any other therapist. Stephanie's approach is personalized and she uses a variety of techniques, which she adjusts as progress is made. My husband can now speak in complete sentences, and is making an amazing recovery. We owe Stephanie a mountain of gratitude as her patience, education and experience has made a tremendous difference in the road to recovery.

Stephanie is an amazing speech therapist and has been working on a regular basis with my mother, who was diagnosed with global aphasia after suffering a massive stroke a year and a half ago. My mother lost 100% of her speech as a result of her stroke, and many Doctors said she would likely never speak again. With Stephanie's speech therapy and work in retraining my mother's brain, she is speaking and saying some words and phrases now! It is truly a miracle! She says my name, my kids' names, my Dad's name, "I love you", "hello", "thank you" among other phrases. Stephanie is such a blessing and I am so thankful we found her to help my mom! She is also such a lovely person to be around and cares so much about her clients! Thank you Stephanie! ❤️

In the past three years Parkinson’s has taken a toll on me.One of the things I noticed was the difference in my voice.It was becoming almost inaudible. My husband kept encouraging me to go for voice training. My family agreed. It is difficult to know which road to take when no one has a map!
